Unhappy midfielder ‘will be tempted by January move’ Arsenal fans told
Unhappy ARSENAL star Emile Smith Rowe could be tempted by a move to Aston Villa, according to reports.
A couple of seasons ago – Smith Rowe was a member of the squad that Mikel Arteta loved to play on a weekly basis – but a series of injuries and some big signings by the Gunners means that he is no longer part of the side.
That led to many reports in the media that West Ham and Chelsea are interested in a potential deal for the man over the summer – And the Hammers even contacted the Gunners over a potential deal for the player.
But despite all the rumours and despite all the transfer speculation – the decision was made by the Gunners to keep hold of Smith-Rowe and the player seemed happy enough to stay and fight for his place in the side.
However – he has once again struggled to get any real minutes in the side this season and there has been some reports in the media which have suggested that Aston Villa are now ready to make a move and try to get some kind of deal done.
And if you believe the words of Transfer expert Dean Jones, the England star would be tempted by a move to the Villians – he told GIVEMESPORT: “Smith Rowe to Villa would be an interesting one to test out because he’s still not getting a look in at Arsenal.
“He could look across at Villa and think it’s pretty exciting. He could be a bigger part of it there than at the Emirates.”

Smith-Rowe is a brilliantly gifted star that will have to get used to sitting on the bench if he stays at ARSENAL – he is not better than what starts on a weekly basis.
If Arteta wants to keep hold of the man then he will stay – but there are clubs out there that are willing to give him a starting spot on a regular basis – so it will be his decision to make.
