In-demand midfielder has made decision about leaving Arsenal this January!
It has been claimed that Emile Smith Rowe has no intention on leaving Arsenal this transfer window
A couple of seasons ago – Smith Rowe was a member of the squad that Mikel Arteta loved to play on a weekly basis – but a series of injuries and some big signings by ARSENAL means that he is no longer part of the side.
That led to many reports in the media that West Ham and Chelsea are interested in a potential deal for the man over the summer – And the Hammers even contacted the Gunners over a potential deal for the player.
But despite all the rumours and despite all the transfer speculation – the decision was made by the Gunners to keep hold of Smith-Rowe and the player seemed happy enough to stay and fight for his place in the side.
However – he has once again struggled to get any real minutes in the side this season and there has been some reports in the media which have suggested that he could leave the club
Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth told Sky Sports: ‘Emile Smith Rowe is focused only on fighting for a place in Arsenal’s starting eleven a id interest from Premier League clubs.
‘Sky Sports News has been told the player is not expecting to leave the Emirates Stadium unless “something miraculous” happens.
‘Smith Rowe is thought to be happy at the club despite being restricted to two starts in all competitions this season.’

Manager Mikel Arteta said today he is happy with Smith Rowe but accepts he has to give him minutes.
He said: “I’m really happy with Emile. He’s in the right trajectory. He’s settled really well and you know I’m not going to talk about individual situations.”
When asked if something has changed with Smith Rowe since his comeback, he added: “No changes. Emile is Emile. He’s got incredible qualities and we are really happy to have him.
“What he needs now is chances to put all the desire and qualities that he has on the pitch. To do that, we have to give him minutes.”
