Forget Pochettino, Blanc and Zidane as Solskajer has message for Man United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he will not want to leave Manchester United in the summer.

After one the poorest starts to a new Premier League season in recent memory, United finally ended all speculation on the future of Jose Mourinho by letting the special one go.

And he was quickly replaced by club legend Solskjaer, who is a firm fans favourite, and United’s 2-0 win at Newcastle saw him match Sir Matt Busby’s record of winning his first four games as manager of the club, he has no intention of leaving the club.

United have a number of possible targets they would like to hire in the summer, with Zinedine Zidane, Mauricio Pochettino and Laurent Blanc all top of the shopping list.

But even though Solskjaer knows he is just looking after the club for the next few months, he has admitted he does not want to leave the club at the end of the season.

He e said with a smile: “Of course I won’t, I don’t want to.

“It’s such a great bunch of players, a fantastic atmosphere, but it’s the next game, it’s the next game, it’s the next game and I’m doing my job as long as I’m here.”

Could Solskjaer get the job on a permanent basis?

If Solskjaer can get United back into the top four and end the season with a trophy or two, then yes he has a great chance to get the job on a permanent basis.

He has not just got United playing well on the pitch, but he has the backing of the fans and has brought back the positive vibes to Old Trafford, something Mourinho failed to do.

All he can do is keep winning, and if he manages that, then he may well get a permanent deal with the club.
