Solskjaer told 81-goal Manchester United target to have a “terrific career” in the game ahead of possible summer move
Manchester United target Odsonne Edouard has been tipped by Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker to have a “terrific career” in the game
Despite all the fire-power that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had at his disposal this season and despite all the creativity that he has in that midfield, United have struggled for goals in the League this season.
Yes they may be second in the Premier League and on the verge of reaching that Europa League final, but he knows that he needs a 20-30 goals a season striker to that attack to really challenge Manchester City.
And there is some speculation that he will look to the board in the summer to hand him some funds to add another scorer to the attack, and Edouard has been mentioned as a possible signing for the club.
Even though he hasn’t been at his best this season, he’s still netted 20 goals in all competitions for Celtic, including 16 in the Scottish Premiership, plus six assists and he has been one of Celtic’s standout players over the years, registering 81 goals and 37 assists in green and white.
“Celtic have had a rotten season but Odsonne Edouard is still the top goal scorer in Scotland,” he wrote on Sky Sports.
“He has all the ability, great close control, can move his feet so quickly and happy to go right or left to get a shot away. I think he is one that will go onto have a terrific career.”
Look, the asking price for Edouard is just £15 million and for a striker that is proving himself to be a deadly striker, he could be an ideal signing for Solskjaer.
