South American star OFFICIALLY confirms he is JOINING Chelsea
Aaron Anselmino has completed his move to Premier League giants Chelsea – it has been revealed.
Over the past few weeks – CHELSEA have been doing alot of transfer business and signing some of the games very best and brightest talents as they seek to take the club into a new era.
Anselmino – who joined Boca’s academy aged 12 – signed a new four-year deal in January. The club are said to be well aware of the interest in their youngster and consequently placed a £25m release clause in his contract, but Chelsea have got the lad for far less.
The report states that the 19-year-old defender will stay at Boca Juniors on loan until the end of the year and ESPN add that the Blues are expected to pay £14m for his signature. Ahead of his move to Stamford Bridge, Anselmino said
“Any player dreams of playing in Europe, I can say that I have already fulfilled my first dream,” he told ESPN.
“I saw the grounds, the stadium, everything was very nice. I’m very happy and my family is happy. It would be the nicest thing to win a title with Boca in these months.”
On Enzo Fernández, Anselmino said: “I told him that I admire him a lot and thanked him: hopefully I will be able to meet him soon. It was very good of him, he helped me a lot at that time.”

Anselmino is a very talented young defender that has the ability to be a very classy defender – but again he is a player that the club do not need to spend so much money on right now and a player that could struggle to make an impact on the side.
The CHELSEA board believe that they are signing players that will take the club forward – but that does not mean that talents have to make the move to Stamford Bridge at this stage of their careers.
Anselmino does not need to make the move to Europe right now and does not need to leave his homeland – but we can see why this would be a dream move for the lad and one that he could not turn down.
