Spaniard makes decision about joining Chelsea – Blues closing in on Powerhouse deal – Chelsea hold £50m transfer talks
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea transfer news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
The director of AC Milan, Geoffrey Moncada, flew to London to meet with Chelsea regarding Armando Broja.
Broja was one of the players that Chelsea had big hopes for and a star that they believed could lead the attack and be the next Didier Drogba, but it has not worked out for the man.
He struggled to make an impact at Chelsea and he struggled to make an impact while out on loan last season – and there is now a big feeling that he will be one of the players that will get sold this summer window.
Sky Sports have reported that CHELSEA are looking for a fee around the £50 million mark for a club to take him off their hands, and The striker has a steady list of admirerers and the race to procure his services is heating up at pace, with AC Milan identifying the Albanian as a replacement for Olivier Giroud.
Now reports on Sky Italian have claimed that Moncada has flown to London to hold talks with Chelsea over a deal for Broja, as Negotiation will be key as the money the Italian club can offer might pale in comparison to others.
In his exclusive interview with The Athletic, the hitman said that ‘of course’ he’d like to move on to pastures new if that meant that he’d get back in his groove of scoring goals. That said,
“Nothing has been decided yet, but if I need to go somewhere else to get back in my groove, then of course I would want to do that.”
“As a player, there is no better feeling than being on the pitch and knowing you have a club and a team who defends you; a club who allow you to make mistakes because they know you will become something.”

It was the wrong decision to move back to CHELSEA after his successful loan spell with Southampton – he clearly was not ready for such a big club
But if gets a move to Milan it will be a fantastic opportunity.
LUKAKU OFFER MADE –
Reports say that Napoli have made a first bid for Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Lukaku has been in strong form since joining Roma and has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season. but is set to return to CHELSEA FC at the end of the season if he cannot agree a move to a new club.
Recent reports have claimed Chelsea have made the decision to allow Romelu Lukaku leave the club and he will not play for the Blues again, and now he told the club that a move to Saudi Arabia interests him
Howevert – Italian giants Napoli have been the first club that have made an offer to sign Lukaku this summer, as they seek to sign an immediate replacement for the departing Victor Osimhen.
But their offer is said to be around half of the £38million CHELSEA are demanding to let the striker go.
With Antonio Conte now in place in Naples a reunion is one more possible, but Chelsea are not interested in letting Lukaku leave on loan again and will want to get close to that £38 million before they conclude business.
Reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballews: ‘Lukaku has not had a bad season at Roma – he has been very impressive for the Italian side – but a move back to the Premier League should not happen – he needs to stay away from the English game.
The CHELSEA FC board will not have a very hard time of convincing the big striker to make the move away from the club in the coming weeks as he has shown constantly that he wants to leave.
There will be a few more clubs interested in a move for the big man – but we would not be surprised to see that move happen – as Chelsea know that they could get some major money for the Belgian star.
So it has not come as a surprise that he has probably played his last game for the club and will probably pack his bags at the end of the season on a permanent basis, and Napoli would be a very good move for him to make now that Conte is there.’
RODRYGO DECISION MADE –
Real Madrid winger would not be interested in moving to Chelsea this summer, even if an offer for him was made, it has been reported.
With the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo is seen as a possible option to leave the Spanish capital and Chelsea, as well as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal, have been linked.
However, his entourage are thought not to have been open to a move to Stamford Bridge. City, with Champions League football, are seen as a more likely destination if he were to leave.
But if you believe the words of reporter Iomie Stanley – he would probably struggle in the Premier League anyways – he told icfootballnews: ‘Rodrygo has enjoyed a good few seasons at Madrid, has won a number of trophies and scored a few goals – but that is because there has not been an Mbappe there since Ronaldo left the club.
‘Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham are the men at Madrid – they are the players that cannot be dropped even if new signings were made – Rodrygo has never been one of those type of players.
‘The Premier League is one of the best in the world – the competition on a weekly basis challenges the very best of players and i believe that Rodrygo would struggle in the English game if he was signed.
‘CHELSEA need to sign some attackers that will suit the style of Enzo Maresca – and although Rodrygo has done well at Madrid – most players are able to do that in a League that has five or six teams that are really quality.
‘If he wants to stay at Madrid and sit on the bench every week – then that is his decision – but the Premier League is not the place for him and he would really struggle in the English game.’
