Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been left ‘annoyed’ by his transfer links to Arsenal, and has no intention of making the move to the Emirates this summer.

WHAT HAPPENED – 

According to recent reports on Football Transfers, ARSENAL want to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Arsenal have “expressed interest” in the Georgia international winger Kvaratskhelia.

Arsenal are keen to sign The Napoli attacker after he garnered massive attention after a thunderous campaign for the Italian heavyweights guiding them to the Scudetto.

He was named as the league’s Player of the Season. So impressive were his performances that he has been nicknamed ‘Kvaradona’, a nod to Napoli’s Argentinian great Diego Maradona.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

According to Il Mattino, he is not thinking about leaving Napoli any time soon, and The report goes on to state that the player has been “irritated” by talk of him joining Arsenal.

He is also said to have been unmoved by Newcastle’s approach.

Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti compared Georgian sensation Kvaratskhelia to Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah: ‘He is really one who has sensitivity in dribbling, in caressing the ball, in bringing those feints that are so difficult to defend against,’ the Italian said last season, via Football Italia.

‘Mo Salah is one of those guys who has this quality in the tight spaces and in finishing so precisely, he doesn’t feel the pressure. You can see that he is a quiet boy, he will have a great future.’

WAS A POSSIBLE MOVE EVER ON?

He is just making his name in the game – has had a breakthrough season and is developing nicely at Napoli – so we could not see him leaving the Italians unless a crazy offer was made.

And to be honest – with all the attacking quality that ARSENAL have right now – we cannot see where he would fit into the starting eleven.

THIAGO CLAIM MADE – 

Arsenal have been backed to launch an audacious move for Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

A hip injury ruled Thiago out for most of last season, with Jurgen Klopp not able to start him since the 3-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in February.

The Spaniard’s frustrating campaign epitomized LIVERPOOL ’s mood overall as he struggled to make an impact in 2022-23, and there is a feeling that he could be sold this summer.

A report last month claimed Thiago is wanted by former club Barcelona, where he emerged as a youngster over a decade ago, but there has also been talk that a move to Saudi Arabia could happen.

However – in a shocking claim – Hamann has backed the Gunners to make a move for the Spanish star, claiming he is perfect for a side that has alot of the possession.

Didi Hamann told Lord Ping: “I’m sure there are clubs interested in Thiago, if he stays in the Premier League, he needs to join one of the top four teams who have a lot of possession, like Man City or ARSENAL.

“The more possession you have, the better Thiago plays. He’s not the best player out of possession, there might be a market in Spain too.

“He’s been a decent player, not a ‘great’ player for Liverpool as some people have said. The physicality of the Premier League has gotten to him.”

RAYA WANTS MOVE – 

It has been claimed that David Raya has told the Brentford board that h would like to sign with Arsenal this summer window.

Mikel Arteta and co. are keen to add another top quality goalkeeper to their ranks for the new campaign, and Raya is a man that the club have been heavily linked with over the past few days.

ARSENAL won’t pay as much as Brentford would like for the Spaniard, who will provide Aaron Ramsdale with competition in goal, but are interested in getting a deal done if the price is right.

Despite Gunners fans not foreseeing current ‘keeper Ramsdale losing his place, last season’s stats show Raya could well challenge him.

In Ramsdale’s 38 appearances in the league last term, he kept 14 clean sheets as he helped his side finish second in the league, but despite Brentford finishing seven places below them, Raya kept 12 clean sheets in the same number of games, just two behind the Arsenal man.

And after seeing a move to Tottenham collapse earlier this month, Raya is closing in on a transfer to Arsenal.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports the Spaniard has informed Brentford he wants to join ARSENAL, and talks between the clubs over a fee are likely to accelerate.

This rumours has come out of nowhere and there are many Arsenal fans out there that are still shocked to see that a deal could actually happen.

Raya is a very good stopper that will not want to sign and sit on the bench, Ramsdale is one of the best in the Premier League and will feel that he should be starting every week, this move could cause some issues in the dressing room.
