Spanish star ‘is crazy’ about the idea of completing summer move to Arsenal

Real Sociedad ace Mikel Merino wants to move to Arsenal this summer, and is crazy about the idea of a move to the Emirates.

The Gunners have been linked with so many players over the past few months as many fans expected the Gunners to bring in a few quality players to add to the squad, but so far only David Raya has been signed by the club.

But it is widely expected that ARSENAL will look to add to that attack this transfer window – and Merino is a player that has been linked with a move to the Emirates over the past few weeks after his impressive performances in the Euros 2024 for Spain.

According to recent reports in the media , Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a big fan of him and is prepared to sanction a deal that would see the 28-year-old earn the most lucrative contract of his career, potentially double what is currently on.

Now reports suggest Merino is “crazy” about the idea of joining the Gunners. So much so that the midfielder is rejecting offers from other clubs to ensure he has the chance to play under Mikel Arteta.

There has been so much speculation about the players that Arsenal could be signing this summer – there is still plenty of time left for ARSENAL to sign Merino if they really want the Spaniard.

It seems that a move to the Emirates is on the cards – it will just take a long time to wrap up as Arsenal have been taking their time with deals this summer window.

We would not be surprised to see him make the move to Arsenal – all the reports suggests that a deal will happen.
