Spurs deadline day! Latest on Lo Celso, Dybala and Sessegnon deals as fans to see new faces arrive

Tottenham transfer update.

There has been a lot of transfer speculation regarding Tottenham over the past 24 hours, but here is a breakdown of the latest rumours with possible last transfer deals by Mauricio Pochettino.

Giovani Lo Celso has arrived in London to complete a £55m move to Tottenham from Real Betis, and reports have suggested that the Argentina international will have a medical before completing the deal, which could rise to £60m.

Lo Celso would be seen as the immediate replacement for Christian Eriksen, who is keen to leave the club and has reportedly agreed a contract to sign with Manchester United.

Tottenham have agreed a fee with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon and expect to complete the deal. The 19-year-old has been a long-term target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and the clubs have now agreed a deal worth £25m rising to £30m, with Josh Onomah moving the other way.

His arrival at the club will mean that Spurs will look to offload Danny Rose as soon as possible, as the England International is heavily tipped to leave the club and has been linked with United, Liverpool and Arsenal in the past few weeks.

And finally, some bad news as Spurs are no longer actively pursuing a deal for Juventus’ Paulo Dybala, as Juventus are not willing to let Dybala leave without a replacement lined up, having lost out on Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku – on the verge of a move to Inter Milan.

Earlier reports suggested that Spurs agreed a £64 million fee for Dybala, but with the transfer window in Italy closing soon, there is not enough time to sign an adequate replacement for the attacker.
