Spurs Eriksen worries leave Manchester United on red alert
Tottenham are growing concerned over Christian Eriksen’s reluctance to sign a new deal with the club, a month after he received a fresh offer.
Eriksen has been pivotal in Spurs great start to the new Premier League season and he has been the architect for so many of Tottenham’s goals over the past 12 months.
But there has been some speculation that he could pack his bags and leave the club if the right offer arrives, as he simply cannot agree a new contract with Tottenham.
It is no secret that Spurs have a wage cap that they do not want to go over, for any player, and they are willing to let big names leave rather than hand the kind of wages that they do not deserve.
The likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and PSG reportedly interested in a deal, and will be boosted by the news that Spurs are worried that Eriksen will not sign a new deal, according to the London Evening standard website.
It is believed Eriksen is seeking a deal towards the top end of Tottenham’s cap, and will not sign a deal unless Spurs meet the terms he wants.
Could United really tempt Eriksen away from Spurs?
United may be going through some things at Old Trafford, but they are still one of the biggest clubs in world football and they have the financial capabilities to offer Eriksen money Spurs cant.
So if they seriously want to sign the midfielder, then they could more than tempt him to Manchester.
