Star AGREES terms with Chelsea – Blues told make FANTASTIC signing – Zlatan reveals if £100M attacker is joining Chelsea

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea transfer news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Ivan Toney would be a ‘fantastic’ signing for the Blues, claims former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham.

The transfer window is no officially open and it will give the likes of Chelsea a massive chance to start getting some deals done that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League for new boss Enzo Maresca.

CHELSEA performed terribly last season and really struggled for goals, with Cole Palmer the only player to break the 20 goal barrier, so it is vital that the Blues board allow Maresca to add a new forward to that attack over the next few months.

The Brentford talisman was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in January, though a move for the England international failed to materialise, as he wanted to stay at Brentford and get back to his best after spending so much time out of the game.

However – There remains a strong possibility the ex-Peterborough United stat will be sold this transfer window, offering the Blues a possible second chance at a deal, which would likely cost them £60 million to wrap up.

Now amid all the transfer speculation and rumours – Sheringham has urged Chelsea to sign the striker – he told Genting Casinos: “I think Ivan Toney would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea or anyone in London. Any one of those clubs would have him, he is a fantastic player who would enhance any of those sides I’ve just mentioned.

“I don’t know what’s happened to his form, but I think a player of his stature can give a lot to a football team, he is a leader who knows his position and is coming into the prime of his career. I think he would be a great asset.”

CHELSEA know that signing Toney would bring a different aspect to that attack for the side – he is the type of player that could make a real difference, and because he did not score too many goals last season, they could get him for a bargain.

IS LEAO JOINING CHELSEA?

Senior AC Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists Rafael Leao will “remain” at the Italian giants despite links with Chelsea

He scored nine goals and bagged 10 assists in Serie A this season and still has four years left on his contract, but there has been alot of talk in the media that he is a player that the club board may look to sign at some point this transfer window.

However – amid all the speculation and rumours that the likes of CHELSEA are interested in a deal for the attacker, Ibrahimovic insists Rafael Leao will “remain” at the Italian giants  – The 42-year-old said at a press conference: “Maignan, Theo and Leao remain.

‘They are the strongest in their roles, they have a contract with us and I’m happy about it. I don’t need domino effects to appear. Thanks to RedBird’s (majority owners of Milan) work we can buy strong players: the club has already brought in 12 players laying the foundation for the future.

‘This is the second year; we have to improve through the details and every day, we have a scouting system all over the world and every day. To close a purchase you need a process. What is important is the right profile.”

There is something there in the potential of Leao – he really is a special talent and could be a great long-term investment – but not for that £100 million that is being talked about.

He wont be coming to the Premier League anytime soon as he has made his feeling very clear – he would like to stay at Milan – and judging by the words of Zlatan – he is going nowhere.

But we are sure that CHELSEA fc will continue to be linked with the man

OLISE AGREES TERMS –

Michael Olise has reportedly agreed terms over a move to Chelsea this summer window, and he will be a very good signing for the club.

According to TEAMtalk, the winger has given his verbal approval to Chelsea’s proposed terms. Although he remains open to considering offers from other interested clubs, Chelsea’s proposal appears to be particularly appealing to him

And in this article we discuss whether he would be a good signing for the club

Talent and Potential

Olise, at just 23 years old, has already shown remarkable talent and promise in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. His ability to dribble past defenders, his vision, and his knack for creating chances make him a standout player. He was instrumental in Palace’s attacking plays, often providing key passes and assists. His technical skills and creativity would be a valuable addition to Chelsea’s squad, which sometimes struggles with breaking down well-organized defenses.

Fit Within the Chelsea System

Under the current management, Chelsea has shown a preference for versatile attackers who can play across the front line. Olise fits this profile well. He can operate effectively as a winger on either side and also play centrally if needed. His versatility would offer Chelsea tactical flexibility, something that is highly valued at the top level.

Readiness for the Step Up

Transitioning from Crystal Palace to CHELSEA is a significant step up, and the pressure and expectations at a club like Chelsea are much higher. While Olise has shown he can perform in the Premier League, the intensity and scrutiny at Chelsea will be on another level. However, given his performances at Palace and his evident confidence on the ball, he appears mentally strong and ready for the challenge.

Competition for Places

Chelsea’s squad is filled with high-quality attackers, meaning Olise would face stiff competition for a starting spot. Players like Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Noni Madueke are already vying for positions on the wings. This competition could either drive Olise to elevate his game further or limit his playing time, which is crucial for his development at this stage of his career.

Development Potential

Joining Chelsea would provide Olise with access to better training facilities, coaching, and a higher caliber of teammates. This environment could significantly aid his development. Working under a top-tier manager and alongside world-class players could refine his game and help him reach his full potential.

Overall, Michael Olise appears to be a good signing for CHELSEA, considering his talent, versatility, and potential for further development. While there are always risks associated with such a significant step up, Olise’s performances for Crystal Palace suggest he has the ability to succeed at a higher level.
