Star arrives to complete Hammers move – West Ham target ‘EXPECTS’ move – Hammers free to sign £40M star
Here is a roundup of the top West Ham news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
West Ham United target Jota Silva is expecting an “imminent” departure from Vitoria de Guimaraes,
West Ham have a dodgy season last year that cost David Moyes his job at the club, after the decision was made by all parties that he would leave the club when the season was up.
That led to the West Ham board making the appointment of Julien Lopetegui their top priority, and after a few weeks of speculation and rumours – it was announced that he would be the next boss of the Hammers.
One thing for that the former Real Madrid and Wolves boss is keen for is to add a new striker to that attack, as the club really struggled in front of goal last season and simply cannot rely on Jarrod Bowen every week.
Jota Silva is a player that has been linked with a move to the Hammers in recent weeks, and according to A Bola. he is expecting an “imminent” departure from Vitoria de Guimaraes,
The forward enjoyed a superb 2023/24 campaign, scoring 15 goals and laying on seven assists in 42 appearances across all competitions, but The 24-year-old is out of contract at the end of next season, meaning his club must cash in now or risk losing the player for free in a year’s time.

Silva had a decent season last year, he is only valued at £17 million, but despite his impressive numbers – the Premier League is too many step ups for the man to make.
West Ham should make a move to sign a striker that knows the Premier League – otherwise they would just be signing another striker that simply cannot score on a weekly basis.
GUILHERME TO SIGN –
West Ham have verbally agreed a £25.5m deal to sign Palmeiras teenage midfielder Luis Guilherme.
There are alot of changes coming over the next few months at West Ham after the decision was made to part ways with david Moyes after a dodgy season and replace the man with Julen Lopetegui.
There has already been a ton of speculation and rumours about who the club could be bringing in over the course of the transfer window, but it seems that Lopetegui is alout to get his first signing as West Ham boss.
The 18-year-old Guilherme is now reportedly set for a medical in England next week after West Ham agreed will pay £19.6m up front, with £5.9m in add-ons for the Brazilian.
Now it has been revealed on the Sky Sports website that he is arrived for his medical.

£19 million is alot of money for a talent that has done nothing in the game, that is something that only the top clubs like to do, so the Hammers must believe that the Brazilian will develop into a top star over the next few windows.
But in terms of signings for now – Lopetegui does not need to make too many signings for West Ham as the club have some very good Premier League stars – they should have done better last season.
But a new striker is definitely something that the club needs – that should be the next signing for the new West Ham boss.
HAMMERS CAN SIGN ABRAHAM –
West Ham target Tammy Abraham is expected to be on the move this summer as Roma are looking to sell the striker after an injury-plagued season
Since making the move to Italian football in the summer of 2021 – Abraham has gone on to develop himself as the number one striker at Roma and a man that the club could really rely on.
He has banged in over 40 goals in just over 100 appearances and his performances has led to alot of speculation in the media that a move back to the Premier League could be on the cards – with a number of clubs interested.
Now it seems that the likes of West Ham will get the chance to sign the striker this transfer window as the Serie A side are looking to overhaul their attack during the summer transfer window, having decided they have no desire to keep Romelu Lukaku beyond his current loan from Chelsea.
Among those set to be offloaded, the TMW website claims is Abraham, who has been deemed to fragile to lead the attack after Lukaku leaves
Abraham endured a difficult season in the Italian capital, having sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury last year that kept him out of action until April

If West Ham do make a move for Abraham this summer – if they are able to keep the striker fit – then he would be worth the £40 million that West Ham might have to pay to get a deal done.
But he really struggled last season and he did struggle in the Premier League when he was here in England – so it will be interesting to see if the Hammers do make a move for the man.
