Statement signing! Frank Lampard ‘desperate’ to complete January signing of Spanish World Cup winner Isco
Reports have claimed Frank Lampard is desperate to wrap up a January deal for Real Madrid ace Isco.
Since the news broke in the media over the past few weeks revealing that Chelsea WILL NOW BE ABLE TO SIGN players during the January transfer window, there has been a lot of transfer speculation in the media about whom the Blues could make a move for.
It is no secret that Frank Lampard has one of the most exciting sides in the Premier League, but there is a big feeling around the media that he needs to spend some serious money in order to add some experienced, world class talent to his very young side.
And that has led to ALOT of reports in the media suggesting that Isco is high up on the shopping list, as the Spaniard is reportedly unhappy with his game time at the Bernabeu, especially since he is now in the prime of his footballing career.
And citing a report by from Spain which suggests the Spanish giants could be looking to find a buyer for the 27-year-old in the January transfer window, with a fee of around £60 million believed to be enough for the likes of Chelsea to wrap up a possible deal.
It’s reported on the DAILY EPRESS that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has no intentions of allowing a key squad player to leave on the cheap, but will look to sell Isco if the right amount of money is offered by clubs.
Isco is a top-class player that has tons of ability and signing him would be a real statement of intent from Lampard, and considering there is a lot of transfer speculation in the media about the future of William, who else would be better that Isco to come in and help replace the Brazilian.
He would, and could be, a real statement signing for Lampard if he was able to complete this transfer deal.
