Big update on reports £300k-a-week Chelsea deal to be announced!

There was some news that Chelsea star Raheem Sterling was close to joining Fenerbahce – but it seems this reports were false.

Sterling firmly established himself as one of the best wingers in the Premier League with Manchester City – where he banged in plenty of goals and won countless trophies.

But after he opted to leave the Premier League Champions – Chelsea made sure that they were the club that got a transfer deal done for the attacker – and many fans were excited about his arrival.

However – he has not been that impressive so far during his stay at CHELSEA – and there has been some reports that he is one player that could be sold in a summer clear-out.

To balance the profit and sustainability standards of the Premier League, the Blues will have to offload some of their players which means Sterling is a player that the club are reportedly ready to cash in on.

But it is understood to be completely false. football.london understands that there has been no communication with Sterling over an exit.

However – amid the speculation reporter Iomie Stanley says that Chelsea should still look to sell the striker – he told icfootballnews: ‘Sterling had to play at such a high level under Pep Guardiola at Man City that his best days may be behind him – he may not be the same man that was scoring 20 goals a season.

‘It is great that he wants to stay and fight for his place – but the bench may be part of his immediate future. He is not the player he once was and may honestly be useless again next season.

‘So if the right offer in the summer arrived – we are sure that that CHELSEA board have looked to offload the winger and bring in somebody that is a little more hungry to succeed and be the best he can be.’
