£325k-a-week star ‘has been offered to Arsenal’ club desperate to get rid!

Chelsea are desperately trying to offload Raheem Sterling before the close of the transfer window an and have reportedly offered him to Arsenal, according to shock reports in the media this week

The Blues have been offering Sterling to rival Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, after stripping him off his squad number after the decision was made that he was no longer needed at the club

But the England international has three years left on his contract and there is no imminent sign of an agreement for him to leave Stamford Bridge, despite all the rumours tat United are interested in a potential deal.

Sterling still supposedly needs to sort out his contract at Stamford Bridge before departing, which is worth £325,000-a-week and has three years left on it – but it has been claimed in the Sun that Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign the winger.

ARSENAL manager Mikel Arteta worked with Sterling while he was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City and has fuelled rumours he could reunite with the player at the Emirates Stadium.

And amid all the speculation – Paul Scholes recently urged the Gunners to sign the winger: ‘I think he’d improve your [Arsenal’s] squad,’ the Manchester United legend said on The Overlap with Sky Bet. ‘I don’t think he’d improve the team, I don’t think he’d be a starter.

‘But then again I do think you need those numbers, you need 16 or 17 players. It’s ok having 12, 13, 14 that are good, and if they stay fit then great you’ve got a good chance, but you still have to go deeper into your squad.

‘And I think Sterling would be a good squad player for them.’

Sterling to ARSENAL– that is some silly rumour that will not happen as Mikel Arteta already has a number of wingers that are better than the Chelsea man – in fact – Sterling would struggle to even get any game time.
