Here is a roundup of the top Man United news and gossip that we think you may have missed today –

Ajax striker Brian Brobbey has named Manchester United as one of his dream destinations ahead of a possible summer move.

There is already talk in the media about who the Red Devils could sign in the coming transfer window to help improve the side just a little bit more – with a number of players linked with a move to Old Trafford..

The 22-year-old has scored 22 times this season and he has revealed that Man United are a very nice club and it would be an attractive destination for him. The player feels the same way about Arsenal as well.

Asked by Helden Magazine about his future, Brobbey said: “Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, those are nice clubs.

“But, if I stay at Ajax, that is certainly not a punishment.”

Brobbey has been impressive this season and it is easy to see why there is so much speculation regarding his future.

But we cant see him joining Man United, we cant see him joining Real Madrid – but we can see him making the move to a lower placed Premier League side.

Man United will have a big transfer budget to play with in the summer window and adding players like Brobbey will not make the statement of intent that Erik Ten Hag needs to worry the rest of the Premier League.

Brobbey had a decent seasons – Ten Hag knows the player – but at the end of the day – the Dutch League is a couple of leagues down from the Premier League and he would just struggle to make any sort of impact.

Anthony was the man over in the Dutch League-  look at him now.

Bruno Fernandes is asking for his new contract to put him among Man Utd’s top earners, according to The Guardian.

Fernandes is one of the most important players in that Manchester United side and a player that the club are not interested in selling over the next couple of transfer windows.

But despite the fact Man United won that FA Cup – there is still alot of talk that Fernandes could follow a number of stars out the door of Old Trafford as they are not where top players want to be.

And according to recent reports on the Daily Express – Man United and Fernandes have held talks about his future at the club – with many believing that he will stay if the club show ambition in the summer transfer window.

Speculation has been rife over the midfielder’s future as he wants to compete at the highest level, and Bayern Munich are among the clubs eager to lure him away from United with O Jogo recently reporting the German giants have taken their first steps in trying to sign him

Now the Guardian claims that The United skipper is said to be seeking clarity about the club’s long-term vision under INEOS, with manager Erik ten Hag facing an uncertain future.

Marcus Rashford, Casemiro and Jadon Sancho are in the top bracket of earners at Old Trafford, and Fernandes wants to be up there in order to stay at the club.

Look, Fernandes is a world class player and this is a real statement of intent – Manchester United need to show the midfielder just how much he is needed at the club – and him that they are looking ahead.

If he wants a big contract to stay – they should give it to him – he is a star that they cannot lose.

Cesc Fabregas believes Youssouf Fofana would thrive in the Premier League but ‘has heard’ the Manchester United target will join another club.

After an impressive season in France – Fofana is a player that Manchester United are very much interested in signing as Erik Ten Hag wants to add some more depth to that midfield that he has.

Fofana has talked up the chances of a move away from Monaco this summer but despite the reports that Man United are very keen on the star – Fabregas ‘has heard’ he will join AC Milan as a familiar face from French football.

Fofana told Get French Football News: “My future? I have spoken about it with the hierarchy, it isn’t a secret.

“We had exchanges and they agreed to accompany me in this new stage.

“If it (a move) doesn’t happen, I still have a year left and I will be happy to stay.

“We were in agreement that we would accompany each other in this process in which everyone should be a winner, be it me or the club.”

‘I know him, I played with him,’ Fabregas said on the BBC’s Planet Premier League podcast when asked about Fofana and whether he could be heading to the English top-flight.

‘Funnily enough I never heard about Man United, I heard that he was going to AC Milan because [Paulo] Fonseca probably is going to go there from France and they know each other, so let’s see where he goes.

‘But he’s a very dynamic and strong player, good on the ball, a modern type of player, aggressive, can jump, he’s box to box. I really like Fofana and I think he fits very well with the Premier League style.’
