Benjamin Sesko has snubbed interest from the likes of Manchester United and will remain at RB Leipzig beyond the summer transfer window.
The transfer window is just a few days from opening up and it is widely expected that Manchester United will delve into that transfer kitty and try to add a new striker to that attack that can bang in 30 goals a season, and Sesko has been linked.
Signing a new striker had represented a priority for the Premier League giants, but they will be forced to look elsewhere after the 21-year-old decided to remain with the Bundesliga club, where he will sign a new deal.
The reports add tat While there are openings in the forward lines at the various clubs he has been linked with, Sesko believes it would aid his development by sticking with Leipzig where he will remain an automatic starter.

Sesko has probably made the right decision from him at this stage of his career – there is no real need to leave his current club as he is developing very nicely in the Bundesliga.
There are some big clubs linked with the player – but at the end of the day – the Premier League may be a difficult one to make right now as it is one of the very best in the world.
Manchester United have made been linked to alot of players over the past few months – so they have options – it will just be very interesting to see who Erik Ten Hag manages to bring in as he definitely needs a 25-30 goals a season forward.
Ten Hag just saved his job with that FA Cup win – he now needs to sign players that will make a big statement this summer.
UNITED WANTS EVANS STAY
Jonny Evans is reportedly being urged by Manchester United to sign a new one-year deal and stay at the club this summer window.
Evans is out of contract this summer after returning to United on a one-year deal last summer and went on to make 30 appearances including as a substitute in the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
The Northern Ireland star is out of contract, but United fancy keeping him, partly due to a limited budget for new signings and have reportedly been urging him to stay at the club for at least one more season, according to the SUN.
The 36-year-old has had talks over a new Man United deal, but has admitted that he does not know what the future holds and if he will be staying at the Manchester Giants this summer transfer window.
“I don’t know,” Evans said when asked about his contract. “It’s still early days. The season has just finished and I think the day after the cup final I flew straight to Palma and spent a week here and then met up with the (Northern Ireland) squad in Murcia.
“Now we are back in Palma (to play Spain) so I’ve been on the go. I’ve wanted to just concentrate on these two games and meet up with the lads. Once I go back and everything settles down a bit I’m sure I’ll have more conversations with the club.”
Asked how much longer he wanted to play on for club and country, the 106-cap defender said: “I don’t know if the question is want. The answer to that is you want to play forever.
“Everyone who plays football, in the moment there’s nothing better. It’s more about how things transpire. So many things have to go into it, your fitness, your age becomes a part of it.
‘But if I could answer that, you want to play on for the rest of your life.”
TEN HAG DECISION MADE –
The Manchester United board spoke to other managers about coming to Old Trafford but have decided to stick with Erik Ten Hag.
Ten Hag was in the headlines for alot of last season as there was constant speculation that he would get the sack after such a disappointing season saw the club finish well down that Premier League table, and out of Europe.
However – the FA Cup gave United and Ten Hag the chance to end the season with some silverware – and get the club back into Europe – and after stunning Man City in that final – they ended up walking away with another FA trophy.
However – despite deciding to keep hold of Ten Hag – Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth has opened up and revealed that the board have held talks with other bosses about coming to Old Trafford, he said: “Remember, he did maintain through all of his talks with Sir Jim Ratcliffe that he believed he would be the man to lead Manchester United forward, that he was under contract until next summer at least and he had no reason to believe he wasn’t going to be the manager.
“Over the past week, Manchester United have been conducting their post-season review after that FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
“After that review of the last season and first-team operations, the club and Erik ten Hag held constructive discussions about what happened over the past season and what could happen in the future.
“Manchester United considered all eventualities. They did speak to other managers and representatives of other managers – Thomas Tuchel, Kieran McKenna and Mauricio Pochettino.
‘But the conclusion after that review and all of those talks was that Ten Hag would remain as manager.
“The club and Ten Hag are believed to be aligned and have now entered negotiations over a contract extension. This is really significant. He’s got one year left on his contract.”
