Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Chelsea will let Armando Broja go before the end of the summer transfer window, according to reporter Iomie Stanley.

Chelsea have sold the likes Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson and Hakim Ziyech, to name a few,  so far this summer, while they are open to offers for Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

Many reports have claimed that the Blues are also hoping to offload Armando Broja this summer after he failed to make the kind of impact at the club that many had hoped for, with injuries and poor loan spells plaguing his time with the club.

Many reports over the weeks have constantly claimed the Blues will try to make sure that Broja is let go in order to free up some space in the squad, and funds to pursue other transfer targets, but no move has happened yet.

However – reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that Chelsea will make sure that Broja is let go by the end of the summer window – they are just trying to get him off the books permanently – he told icfootballnews: Broja is a player that Chelsea do not want – he is a player that they do not believe has the ability to make any sort of impact and they really want him gone.

‘But it seems that clubs are only willing to sign Broja on a loan basis rather than a permanent one – which is why he is still at the club.

“It has been claimed that Chelsea want £40 million for the powerhouse – which is another reason why he is still at Stamford Bridge – but they will lower that demand the closer we get to the end of the transfer window.

‘I would be very surprised to see Broja still at Chelsea for the beginning of September – he will go before the close of the transfer window’

CHELSEA TO SIGN MEC –

Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Gabriel Mec and he has the talent to potential make an impact at the Blues in the future, according to reporter Iomie Stanley

Over the past few weeks – CHELSEA fans have seen the board splash the cash on a number of talents for the future – with the likes of Renato Veiga – Willian Estevao and Marc Guia just a few names that have been signed by the club.

But there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window to delve into that kitty and sign a few more talented players – and Mec is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Premier League giants.

Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that the west London club have presented their project to the player this summer. Negotiations are currently underway with his club Gremio and the teenager’s camp.

Now Brazilian media outlet Radio Bandeirantes has reported that Chelsea are preparing a €20 million (£17m/$22m) bid for Mec, structured as €7m (£5.92m/$7.5m) upfront with an additional €13m (£11m/$14m) in performance-related add-ons

It was claimed in September by the Brazilian daily sports newspaper Lance! that Arsenal had been showing a keen interest in getting a deal done,  Paris Saint-Germain were also named in the report as doing likewise. but it is claimed that Chelsea believe they will win the race for the lad.

Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘We have not seen too much of the talented Mec – but he is certainly a player that alot of clubs are showing a keen interest in signing  – so he much have something special.

‘However – with only a month to go before the close of the transfer window – CHELSEA should be trying to make signings that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League – and not adding more talents.

‘But Mec has been impressing the scouts and to be honest – could have the talent to make an impact at the Blues in the future if he gets the chance to work with the coaches at Chelsea.’

‘He is a very talented lad – and although i believe that a move to Europe does not need to happen right now – he does have alot of potential.’

MARC GUIA MAKES ADMISSION –

Chelsea summer signing Marc Guiu has denied reports he left Barcelona for money, and revealed why he joined the Blues.

The Blues activated a £5m release clause in his Barca contract to sign the striker after the 18-year-old reportedly rejected a new deal at the Spanish giants, as they wanted to keep hold of the lad for another couple of seasons.

Guia has been very impressive in pre-season for the Blues and looks like a player that could have a big part to play for Chelsea over the next season, but many have claimed that a move to Stamford Bridge only happened because of money.

However – Guiu has denied reports he left Barcelona for money, and revealed why he joined the Blues -The striker told BBC Sport of his decision to leave Barca: “It was not an issue with my contract. I’ve always dreamt of playing in the Premier League and Chelsea is a great club with a lot of history.

“It was a tough decision but it was an amazing opportunity, so I had to go for it.”

Guia has been looking like a very talented player for CHELSEA since his move to Stamford Bridge – and to be honest – has looked like a player that could make an impact at the club over the next season.

Chelsea have been making signings and bringing in players that have had long-term deals – Guia is one of those players and we are sure that he has been given a bigger contract offer than what Barca offered him before he left.

It will be interesting to see just how he manages to cope at Chelsea over the next few seasons – it was a big decision to make – not many talents of the game decide to leave Barcelona when there is a chance to stay.
