ARSENAL target Jonathan David is expected to become a free agent next summer, and is demanding £100,000 a week according to TuttoSport.

Mikel Arteta may have one of the very best attacks in the Premier League and a squad that will go on to challenge for that title at the end of the season, but that has not stopped speculation about players that he could sign this January window.

Arsenal sit six points behind Liverpool in that Premier League title race, but the Reds have a game in hand over the Gunners, and many feel that to truly take the title off Arne Alot, Arsenal needs to add a new striker to that atttack.

Kai Havertz has been too inconsistent over the past few weeks despite his good start to the season, Gabriel Jesus is a man that picks up injuries far too many times, while the Gunners will be without Bukayo Saka for quite some time.

That has led to all sorts of speculation and rumours that a potential move for David could happen in the next couple of windows, especially as the striker is out of contract at the end of the season.

David is Starting the new campaign in a similarly potent fashion as he ended it last season, and Arsenal have the chance to open talks in January and potential striker a deal with the Canadian star.

And if you believe the many reports in the media, a wage of £100k-a-week would probably be enough to seal a deal for the striker.
