Stunning Mikel Arteta claim made – Arsenal star ‘has decided’ leave in January – Striker tells Arsenal he’s worth €100M

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today featuring the likes of Victor Osimhen, the decision from Jakub Kiwior and a stunning claim about Mikel Arteta….

It has again been claimed that defender Jakub Kiwior has made the decision that he will leave Arsenal once the winter transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time as he struggled to pick up game time at the Gunners.

Kiwior signed for ARSENAL FC a couple of January windows ago from Spezia for a fee of £17.5million, and there have been occasions where he has put in some impressive performances in that Arsenal shirt.

However – he has failed to live upto expectations over his Gunners career and has been constantly linked with a move away from the Emirates – with a number of top clubs reportedly interested in a potential deal.

Kiwior’s minutes have been even more limited this season by the signing of Riccardo Calafiori, who has been impressive since his move to the club in the summer and if the man that Mikel Arteta prefers in that left-back position.

Now – according to TBR Football, Kiwior is now eyeing a move away from the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window, not wanting to play the back-up role.

IcFootballnews Opinion…

Look, ARSENAL FC took a chance on Kiwior and brought him to the Premier League, but he has had enough time to settle at the club and make some kind of impact, but it has not really worked out like that.

If he wants to move back to Italian football, then that Arsenal board should allow him to leave and bring in players that actually want to be part of the side, stars that will give 100 per cent and will not miss the country they have been signed for.

It was a shock to see Arsenal keep the player in the summer window – but we are sure that the Gunners will let him leave if he wants to go in January.

MIKEL ARTETA CLAIM MADE –

Former Gunner Emmanuel Petit has said what no ARSENAL fan wants to hear: that Mikel Arteta would be the perfect replacement for Pep Guardiola at Man City when the Spanish boos decides to leave the Premier League giants.

After months and months and months of speculation and rumours – Mikel Arteta finally ended speculation about his long-term future at the Emirates and agreed a brand new contract at the club.

Having taken charge five years ago, the Spaniard has signed a new three-year deal until 2027 and is destined to be the man that takes over from Guardiola and dominates the Premier League in the next few seasons.

Guardiola has hinted on numerous occasions that this could be his last season at the Manchester giants having achieved everything that he could possibly achieve in the Premier League and Champions League with City.

Now Petit has said what no Arsenal fan wants to hear: that Mikel Arteta would be the perfect replacement for Pep – Speaking to Prime Casino, Petit said: “Pep Guardiola has begun to show signs of tiredness in the last two years and you can sometimes see that he is lacking energy.

“Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool was a huge blow for Guardiola because he had that competition to push him to be at his very best.

“He’s not a worse manager now but I think he does look tired and mentally it takes a lot of energy to be a manager at the highest level.

“If Guardiola does decide to leave, the best possible replacement would be Mikel Arteta. He knows the club and he knows the philosophy which he has tried to repeat at ARSENAL.

“Things move so fast and anything can happen in football, Arteta could step into Guardiola’s shoes but City wouldn’t be the only club interested in him.”

OSIMHEN MESSAGE SENT –

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has opened up and told the likes of ARSENAL that “I am worth more than €100 million” after impressing during his first two games for Galatasaray, where he is currently on loan from Napoli.

Despite links to the likes of ARSENAL, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli could not find a buyer for Osimhen and his relationship with the Serie A club fell apart, resulting in him being loaned to Galatasaray for the season.

Osimhen already has two goals and two assists to his name in three Super Lig appearances for the Turkish giants, and the 25-year-old maintains that few players boast his type of quality and style.

“I am worth more than €100 million,” he said. “There are few players like me in the world who have achieved this style and this success. Everything is linked to my characteristics, to the things I do, to my quality.

“I think I deserve it. I’m aware of the contribution I make and what I can do, even in my private life. Do people think differently? Some say 15 million, others say 100-120-150. Everyone has different opinions.”

IcFootballnews View…

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in world football, there is no doubt about that, but he let greed get the best of him and he started asking for far too much money, so much so, that he never got that big move he wanted.

Scoring goals for a top player like Osimhen in Turkey is like scoring goals in the Championship here in England, that is the level that he is currently playing at right now.

“I am worth more than €100 million” he says – but the only clubs that will not pay that is the Saudi.
