The 24-year-old has barely featured for the Spanish champions this season and has admitted on numerous occasions that he will seek a move if things do not improve by January.
Reports on the Metro website suggest Unai Emery is keen on signing Suarez and the 25-year-old has verbally agreed to join Arsenal, but the Gunners and Barcelona have not yet agreed on the terms of the transfer.
It is believed that Barca would accept a bid of €15 million (£13.4m) for the midfielder, as they will look to use the funds to help finance their winter transfer deals, but Arsenal do not have the funds to complete a deal and are looking for a loan move instead.
Arsenal have approached Barcelona about a possible deal to sign unhappy Brazilian star Malcon on-loan until the end of the season.
Malcom was signed by Barcelona in the summer and was tipped to become a star player for the Spaniards this season, but he has failed to live upto expectactions and has only started one League game this season.
His lack of game time has led to alot of speculation that Arsenal could try and get a deal done during the January window, as the Gunners were reportedly interested in a deal for the Brazilian just before he signed for Barcelona in a deal worth over £40 million.
And according to reports on the Sun on Sunday, Arsenal are hoping Barcelona allow them to loan both Malcom and Denis Suarez, who has reportedly verbally agreed a move, to make the move before the window shuts in just a few days time.
Suarez has been linked with a move to the Emirates for months, and Arsenal are in talks with Barcelona about a possible loan deal until the end of the season, with the Spaniards ready to do business.
Barcelona’s hierarchy are reportedly undecided over Malcom’s long-term future but would accept an offer of £50m or a loan deal in order for the winger to be given a chance to impress.
Arsenal target Ivan Perisic has handed in a transfer request at Inter Milan after the Gunners made an offer for the winger.
With the January window closing in just a few days time, Gunners boss Unai Emery is now desperate to tru and complete a few deals before the window closes, but can only bring in players on a loan basis until the end of the season.
It has been reported that talks are in progression for Barcelona star Denis Suarez, while they have approached thge Spaniards about a possible transfer deal for Malcom, who is seeking a way out of the Nou Camp after failing to establish himself in the squad.
Now, after reports emerged which suggested Arsenal approached Inter about a loan deal for Perisic, they have been given a huge boost after Inter director Guiseppe Marotta told Sky in Italy that the £36 million rated winger has now handed in his transfer request.
He was quoted on the Sky Sports: “Perisic has asked to leave but there is no offer for him. We will see in the coming days.
“We will listen to the request of Perisic, he has put in a transfer request; we must try to satisfy him but also respect the value of him.”
However, Inter have no interest in loaning out Perisic this month and are seeking a permanent deal for his signature, with reports they will accept £36 million for his services, which could be a huge problem for Arsenal.
Head coach Luciano Spalletti said: “It’s a player that has been talked about because everyone values him as much as we do, and if anyone wants to buy him they will need to pay him good money because we rate him a lot.”
Arsenal and Chelsea target Ante Rebic has revealed his desire to play in the Premier League.
The Eintracht Frankfurt forward was a key player in Croatia’s run to the World Cup final in the summer, and his performances for the National side caught the attentions of both the Gunners and Chelsea.
Chelsea and Arsenal are keen to add some strength in depth to their squads in order to challenge both Liverpool and Manchester City for that Premier League title, with reports that the fee of £35million would be enough to snap up the Croat.
