The agent of Barcelona star and Liverpool target Dani Olmo has opened up and admitted that ‘it is a stressful situation’ for the Spaniard amid stunning reports that he may be forced to leave Barca this January.

The Spanish league said Barcelona failed to meet financial fair-play rules ahead of the Tuesday deadline and the club was not allowed to register Olmo or any other player beyond 2024.

Barcelona have endured difficulties registering some players recently because of their financial struggles.

They have resorted to a series of financial levers in recent years, including the sale of future television rights. The club’s financial struggles led to the departure of Lionel Messi in 2021

Speaking to Fabrizio Romano for GiveMeSport, Bara said: “It’s a stressful situation for Dani as it would be for any other player. But he’s a great player and person, he’s trying to be calm. Of course, Dani is a winner and he loves to play the games, not to watch them.

“We have never made any career decision for money. Dani plays football as he loves the game, he made a massive effort to be at Barcelona. I’m also happy to have Dani at Barcelona, he’s one of the best players in the world at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“We respect President [Joan] Laporta and Deco. They made a big effort to bring in Dani last summer. We like their project, it’s a big one for the future, one of the best in the world in the next years.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold has been in the media alot over the past few months as there is alot of speculation in the media that he is one player that could leave the club at the end of the season after failing to agree a new contract at Anfield.

The England international is of huge interest to the Spanish giants with one proposal, believed to be in the region of £20million, submitted and rejected earlier this week. With his future in limbo, Alexander-Arnold seems to be holding the cards and has thus made what he wants perfectly clear.

Liverpool dont want the star to leave and have been working on trying to get him signed up to a new contract, but it now seems that they are also preparing for life at Alexander-Arnold as they have made moves to sign Frimpong from Leverkusen.

Frimpong has been one of the most outstanding players for Leverkusen over the past few seasons, and it has been claimed by BILD that Liverpool have held talks with the Germans about a potential deal.

Frimpong extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen six months later until the summer of 2028, so Liverpool will have to match that release clause if they wish to get a deal done for the Bundesliga star.

If he gets signed, he will be a welcome addition to that LIVERPOOL side, it is that simple.

SALAH DROPS TRANSFER HINT

Superstar LIVERPOOL ace Mohamed Salah has opened up and pretty much confirmed that he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the season, after failing to agree a new contract at the Premier League leaders.

Salah has enjoyed one of his best seasons since arriving at Anfield in 2017,notching up a remarkable 17 goals and 13 assists in 18 Premier League appearances so far this campaign.

liverpool, salahHowever, the Egyptian has now entered the final six months of his contract at Anfield and is now able to speak with foreign clubs about signing on a free next summer, But amid all the speculation and rumours, the world class star has opened up and dropped the biggest hint that he could be leaving the club at the end of the season, Salah said: “The first thing that was on the list was to win the Premier League with Liverpool.

“In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say [I want to win the] Champions League. But this is the first time I’m saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool.”

Asked why he was so focused on winning the title, he added:  “I have no idea. It’s probably because we didn’t celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it’s my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city.

“That was the thing in my head.

“We waited for that title for 30 years or so. So, to win it and it was the pandemic at that time, we didn’t really have time to celebrate it in the right way. It’s not a nice thing to do, so hopefully we can do it this year.”

Salah is not the only LIVERPOOL star with an uncertain future at the club, with defensive duo Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold also available on a free transfer this summer.
