Superstar tipped for big move, Liverpool told sign Prem star, Reds told to sign FREE Bundesliga superstar
Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you could have missed today…
Dietmaar Hamaan has opened up and claimed that he can see LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah leaving the club at the end of the season and joining Harry Kane at Bayern Munich, as the Germans become interested in the winger.
Despite already netting 14 goals this season for Liverpool, there has been alot of speculation and rumours about the future of the Egyptian star as his contract is up at the end of the season, and he could leave the club for free.
Add that to the fact that he is able to hold transfer talks with foreign teams in the January window about a move at the end of the season, and there is a feeling that a move to Saudi Arabia, PSG, Real Madrid or even Barcelona could happen.
But now Hamann has opened up and claimed that a shock move to Bayern Munich could be on the cards – he told Genting Casino: “It’s bizarre if the club hasn’t spoken to him, but I do think he will be offered a new two-year contract.
‘He will want a four year deal but things can change so quickly when you are in your 30s. Clubs always have to be so wary over that and I have no doubt he has two more years at the top level, but if he wants a longer deal then it could be an issue. I’m not sure Mohamed Salah can be replaced when it comes to scoring big goals in big games, you can always count on him. There are other talented players out there but not like Salah.
“If Liverpool don’t offer him a contract, ‘I wouldn’t be surprised to see Mohamed Salah end up at Bayern Munich. At the moment, they’ve got wingers who haven’t really set the world alight on the pitch.
‘I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to bring him in. They won’t be the only club either, he wants to play at the highest level and if that’s not with Liverpool it will be at another huge club. LIVERPOOL have always done their business differently to other teams.
‘Mohamed Salah has been their best player for eight years, he still averages 25 goals, but he is 32 now.”
LIVERPOOL TOLD SIGN DAVIES
LIVERPOOL have been encouraged to make a sock move for Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies, as the defender looks set to leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season when his contract runs out.
Alphonso Davies is a player that has the ability to play in a number of positions, and has been on the radar of the Premier League for quite a few seasons, but clubs have never been able to get a transfer deal done.
However Davies is open to leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season as his current deal with the Bundesliga giants is running out, and Bayern are open to letting him leave the club as they dont want to pay his massive wage demands.
And according to the latest reports, Real Madrid will be able to hold talks with Davies in the January window in hope that they come to an agreement on whether or not he signs at the end of the season, but now pundit Danny Murphy has told Liverpool to make a move.
Speaking to BetBrain, ex-Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy said: “Considering what Andy Robertson has done for Liverpool and the level of performances he’s delivered over the years, he’s now in the conversation when people talk about the best left-backs Liverpool have ever had.
‘There’s been some incredible left-backs in some unbelievable Liverpool teams, so let’s praise him for what he’s done in his career – he’s a winner and a phenomenal player.
“However, I don’t think Konstantinos Tsimikas is ever going to replace Robertson or play instead of him on a consistent basis, so I think Robertson and Liverpool would benefit from him having real competition at left-back and for Arne Slot to look long-term at the position.”
Suggesting Davies as a potential replacement, Murphy added: “There’d be plenty of competition, but Alphonso Davies is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer.
‘If you’re looking for a left-back that ticks every box in terms of one-on-one defending, threat going forward, pace and physicality, he would be the obvious choice for Liverpool.”
BOWEN MESSAGE SENT
Despite the season that Liverpool and Salah are having right now, alot of the headlines in the media are surrounding the little winger and his future as the Reds have been working hard on trying to keep hold of their star man.
However – talks have not progressed like many would have hoped for, and there is now a real possibility that Salah can agree a move away from Liverpool in the January window as he is able to hold talks with clubs outside the Premier League about a move at the end of the season.
There has been many teams linked with a move to Liverpool as a possible replacement for Salah, but now McCoist has now opened up and claimed that Bowen could be the ideal star to replace the Egyptian at Anfield, Speaking to talkSPORT BET, McCoist said: “Liverpool should replace Mohamed Salah with Jarrod Bowen if Salah was to leave.
‘West Ham fans won’t be very happy with me for saying it, he is top class. I really like Bowen. I see a lot of people making comments that he’s too good for West Ham, he’s not too good for West Ham because they’re a great club.
“He’s good enough to play Champions League football on a consistent basis though, that’s a fact. I really enjoy watching him and he could easily step into that team and play Champions League football.
‘My priority would be keeping Salah, of course, but if he were to move on Liverpool should look at Bowen.”

Look, Bowen has been linked with big moves in the past, he has been tipped to leave the Hammers, but he has shown no desire to leave the club and leave London, he is very happy.
He could be a great replacement for Salah, but it would take something special for him to uproot his family from their beloved Hammers
