Solskjaer told £175 million will get superstar signe dup, Madrid make stunning transfer decision that opens door for United deal and Telles tells Fans ‘I’ve done everything I can’

Madrid made shock Haaland decision, Telles sends Man United fans message, Kane asking price is set in Manchester United roundup…

Real Madrid will not make an offer for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, which will give Chelsea a massive boost in their quest to add the goal-scoring machine to that attack in the summer.

There are few more sought-after players in world football than the dynamic 20-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in 21 appearances in the Bundesliga this season.

Haaland spurned the Premier League giants advances to join Dortmund from RB Salzburg in December 2019, but speculation has continued about the Norway international leaving the German side in the coming transfer window, with United just one club linked with the player.

The Norway international’s agent is in talks with his top suitors in an attempt to start a bidding war, and reports on the AS website have claimed Haaland’s first choice destination is Madrid, but the Santiago Bernabeu club will not be making an offer.

With Covid-19 hitting the club very hard, it has been claimed that they will only be able to make on big transfer signing in the summer and would much prefer to add the exciting PSG star Kylian Mbappe to the attack.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United will keep their transfer dealings private as he refused to be drawn into the public battle for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland’s signature.

There are few more sought-after players in world football than the dynamic 20-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in 21 appearances in the Bundesliga this season.

Haaland spurned United’s advances to join Dortmund from RB Salzburg in December 2019, but speculation has continued about the Norway international linking up with his former manager at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer coached the striker at Molde and talk of a summer departure from BVB has intensified after the player’s agent Mino Raiola and father Alf-Inge Haaland were pictured in Spain.

Asked if he can afford to miss out on Haaland again, the United boss said: “Well, I’m focusing on the next two months and whatever happens in the world of football… there’s only so many places anyone can go to.

“I just focus on the ones who are here and even though I’ve worked with Erling it’s not right for me as a Man United manager (to be) talking about Erling.

“I can talk about him as an ex coach of his but he will make his own mind up.”

Tottenham are set to keep hold of Harry Kane this summer after setting a £175 million ($242m) price tag for the England star and long-term Manchester United transfer target.

Regarded as one of the very best strikers on the planet right now, Kane is a player that is being chased by all the biggest clubs, with ManUtd once of those outfits that may be interested in a deal at the end of the season.

To date he has scored 215 goals in 327 appearances in all competitions, making him Spurs’ second highest scorer of all time behind Jimmy Greaves, but with Spurs not able to win the trophies that he would like, there has been constant speculation in the media.

That has led to reports in the media that Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are the three Premier League clubs that may be interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Kane on the summer, as they are all keen to add a new striker to their attacks.

Spurs are in no mood to let their star man leave the club in the transfer window and are hoping that that massive price tag of £175 million will be enough to keep all those chasing clubs from making an offer in the summer

Kane, meanwhile, is open to staying with Spurs, his boyhood club, as they continue their pursuit of a much-needed trophy, as long as they help him achieve his goals of winning that Premier League title.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is not concerned by Harry Kane’s uncertain comments about his future at the club and says the striker should be happy with his current situation.

Kane raised eyebrows during the international break when he said the topic of his future at Spurs was a “hard question to answer right now” and that “we’ll see where we go” after this summer’s European Championship.

The England captain, who still has another three years left on his current contract, has been honest in the past about being content to say at the north London club providing he sees suitable progression, but with Mourinho’s side enduring an inconsistent season, speculation has been rife about a possible move away.

Asked whether he was bothered that Kane was not more defiant in his commitment to the club, Mourinho said: “No. No. I want Harry to be with us what he has been. I want Harry to repeat against Newcastle the same performance he had against Aston Villa.

“When I say the same performance, I mean the same commitment, the same desire, the same team spirit, the same leadership. That’s what I want and I know that I’m going to have that.

“I cannot play that game (of speculation). I have to focus on what he is for us.”

Summer transfer signing Alex Telles has addressed the competition between him and Luke Shaw at Manchester United.

With ManUtd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to improve during the last summer transfer window, the Red Devils managed to beat off a number of clubs and bring the impressive Telles to Old Trafford.

United forked out £15 million ($21m) to bring Telles to Old Trafford from Porto last summer, leading to question marks over Shaw’s future at left-back in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI.

However, since the arrival of Telles, Shaw has stepped up his levels of performance this season and has become one of the most impressive left-backs in the Premier League, with his performances even earning him a place back in the England squad.

“I’ve always said that, when you’ve got players of the highest quality in the team, then the thing that ends up benefiting is Manchester United; the team,” the Brazilian defender told United’s official website.

“Since I’ve arrived here, I’ve worked as hard as I can and I’ve done everything I can to show that I deserve to be here, and I think I’ve done that.

“At the same time, I’m really happy for Luke Shaw, who has made great progress and has been playing really well. He trains really well and he’s done excellently in the matches as well.”

Pressed on his relationship with Shaw, Telles added: “In terms of the two of us, we both motivate each other and push each other further forward and we help each other.

“That’s really, really important throughout the team, independent of the positions we play.”

Look, Telles is a very impressive left-back and United done well to sign him, so the fact that the club now have two quality left-backs in the side fighting for that position is only a good thing.

Telles will get his chance soon enough, but if he doesnt, will he consider leaving?
