Manchester United fans told why Dutchman will be a Red Devil this summer!

Winning the FA Cup against Man City has saved the Manchester United job for Erik Ten Hag, it has been claimed.

Ten Hag was in the headlines for alot of last season as there was constant speculation that he would get the sack after such a disappointing season saw the club finish well down that Premier League table, and out of Europe.

However – the FA Cup gave Manchester United and Ten Hag the chance to end the season with some silverware – and get the club back into Europe – and after stunning Man City in that final – they ended up walking away with another FA trophy.

Now – Sky Sports News reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that is the only reason why Erik Ten Hag will keep his job this summer, he said: “The FA Cup win was one of the factors the review would have considered but it was the whole season as well, and that was why there was so much doubt about whether Erik ten Hag would remain as Manchester United manager.

“They had an eighth-placed finish – never before had Manchester United finished that low in a Premier League season. They had a negative goal difference.

“This followed a season when they won the League Cup, got to the quarter-finals of the Europa League and finished third in the Premier League.

“But this season, things have not gone according to plan. Their defence of the League Cup finished early. They were knocked out in the group stages of the Champions League. They finished bottom of that group and were eliminated from Europe before Christmas.

“That would not have helped Ten Hag but everything was considered, including the injury situation that he had to deal with.

“All of this, coupled with maybe not being able to find another manager that they believed would do a better job than Ten Hag, meant they came to the conclusion he is the man to lead Manchester United forward.”
