Ten Hag tells £40M winger make United choice – Man United get striker update – United make decision about signing midfielder
Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news and gossip fro icfootballnews that we think you may have missed featuring Jadon Sancho – Ivan Toney and Sofyan Amrabat…
It has been claimed that Manchester United have made a decision about trying to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat this summer window, as the Italians are keen to sell the star.
Old Trafford chief Erik ten Hag is thought to have been impressed with how the Morocco anchorman finished the season and was reportedly eager for the star to stay put before his loan deal expired.
But despite the fact he is now back at Fiorentina – there are reports which have suggested that the Italian side are keen to get rid of the player and he is now training on his own until a move happens.
Football agent Giulio Tedeschi recently claimed the Fiorentina star, 28, is a serious option despite the Red Devils being linked to PSG’s Uruguayan ace Manuel Ugarte.
The Red Devils have also been tipped to re-sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina this summer, but Corriere dello Sport claim that a deal is unlikely to happen anymore.
Fiorentina are willing to sell Amrabat for £12.7 million, but United will not satisfy the club’s requests.

Look, if Manchester United wanted to keep Amrabat they surely would have held talks over a deal earlier in the season? He was decent but not great.
He clearly wanted to stay at United and it seems that Erik Ten Hag would like to have him back again – although the signing of Ugarte will mean that Amrabat would not get alot of game time in that United midfield.
But it will be interesting to see how this all plays out, as there is alot of speculation regarding this potential deal. But one thing is for sure – the midfielder is keen on a move back to the club and if United seriously want the man – Fiorentina will not stand in the way.
But as we said – he was only good towards the end of the season last year – the rest of the time he was not.
TONEY UPDATE GIVEN –
Brentford boss Thomas Frank has discussed the future of Manchester United Ivan Toney with the constant rumours in the media that he is one player that could leave the club by the end of the transfer window in just a few days time
The Bees left their talisman out of their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace due to speculation over his future, even though icfootballnews understands the England striker wanted to play.
The likes of Manchester United have been linked with a move for the big man before the close of the transfer window, but Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli have had one bid of around £35million, including add-ons, rejected as Brentford wants £50 million, but the Saudi club are expected to make another offer.
On whether Toney will still be at the club by the end of the transfer window Frank said: “Ivan trained the whole week, he trained with a good attitude in every aspect so he could be involved, he could not.
“He could be here after the 30th, he could not be here. Everything is up in the air. I said the whole time, if he’s here, I’m very happy. If he’s not here I am happy on his behalf.”
Brentford are continuing to demand at least £50m, even though the 28-year-old is out of contract next summer and has made it clear he will not sign a new deal.
On the discussions with Al-Ahil, Bees boss Frank added: “I would love to share all that, I think it would be very, very interesting but I won’t!”

Look, if Manchester United wants to sign the player they will make their move but we cant see them paying £50 million for a player that only has a year left on his current contract.
We would like to see him stay in the Premier League but would not be shocked to see the striker take that offer from the Middle east.
TEN HAG SENDS SANCHO MESSAGE –
Erik ten Hag has challenged Jadon Sancho to make a ‘choice’ about his Manchester United future amid all the speculation and rumours that he is one player that could still leave the club this transfer window.
Sancho has fallen out of favour at United after a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, who remained in charge after winning the FA Cup, and the winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and played in the Champions League final.
According to reports in Italy, Manchester United have been offering the England international out and are looking to make a profit, and a number of clubs have been offered the chance to sign the 24-year-old.
The winger was nowhere to be seen again in the lose against Brighton, with the winger left out of the matchday squad against Brighton, and Ten Hag was asked about Sancho’s absence after a 2-1 defeat for his men at the Amex, and he said: “He’s here, but there is a choice to make.
“We’ve had some issues, but he’s part of the squad, and he has to compete for his position. “From game to game, we’ll have a look because it’s going to be a long season.
On whether he plans to bring in any more new players before the transfer window, he added: “We’ll see.
“You always have to look to get better, but there has to be the right options.”

Jadon Sanco showed at the back-end of last season that the Bundesliga is the League that he needs to be in, that is where he plays his best football and that is where he should end up next.
We are sure that he will get a summer move at some point this transfer window as he is done at United under Ten Hag – which is a shame because he is a very talented player that can create and score goals.
We think the best thing he can do is leave Manchester United
