Ten Hag has decided he wants £200,000-a-week star at Man United
Fans have been told that Erik Ten Hag has plans for Marcus Rashford at Man United next season – and wants him to stay at the club
Rashford has failed to nail down a regular starting spot since Ralf Rangnick was installed as the Red Devils’ interim manager last November, and is looking like a player that is ready for a fresh start.
That has led to sensational reports in the media that Bayern Munich are ready to offer the Englishman a move to German football at the end of the season, as they seek to freshen up their squad.
They are on the verge of losing star man Robert Lewandowski – who has decided to leave the club after failing to agree a new contract – meaning that the club will need to sign players that will help to replace his 50-goals a season
However – Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has opened up and told fans that Ten Hag wants to keep the £200,000-a-week star at Old Trafford this summer and is willing to give him a fresh chance next season
Romano told GMS: “My personal opinion, it’s not news, but a personal feeling, Rashford will have a conversation with Erik ten Hag. But, speaking with some sources, Ten Hag is prepared to give him a chance to change the situation.
“He feels he could be an important player for Manchester United in the future.”
Look – Rashford is a very good player that has lost his way a little bit – so now that a new manager is in – it could be the thing that reignites his career at the club
He needs that fresh start at United as he has lost his way a bit and a move away from the club may not be the best thing for his career
