Arsenal have been given the all clear to complete a transfer deal for Andrea Belotti – after he officially become a free agent

Despite the fact that Gabriel Jesus has been brought by the club and Eddie Nketiah has been given a new contract – there is a feeling that Arsenal need to add a powerful striker to that front line

And that has led to many reports in the media suggesting that Arsenal are preparing an ambitious move to try and acquire the services of Italian International Belotti

The powerful forward has a proven track record of scoring goals at the very highest level for a sustained period of time – as the 41-capped Italy international has bagged 170 goals in 433 career games for club and country

Now it has been confirmed the striker – wanted by Arsenal – is officially a free agent and that means that Moyes will be able to make him an offer to come to the Premier League

“Official statement from Torino now confirms Andrea Belotti will not sign a new contract – he’s available on the market as free agent immediately, no full agreement with any club yet,” Italian transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano said on Twitter.

“Belotti will make a decision on his future club soon.”

“Dear Andrea, we acknowledge your decision to begin a new experience, from today we take different paths,” the statement reads (Football Italia).

“We spent seven seasons together, which, in modern football, represent a very solid bond. We always shared with the same passion joys and sufferings, emotions and disappointments.

“We thank you for everything you gave us. Proud of what you have become for Toro, we salute you by wishing you good luck in the continuing of your career.”

Belotti may not suit the style of Mikel Arteta and the plans for the future – but he would be a brilliant addition to the squad and a player that could make a massive impact at the club

Moller completes move –

Arsenal starlet Nikolaj Moller has returned to Dutch outfit FC Den Bosch on loan after his spell last season – the Gunners have announced

The 19-year-old striker spent the second half of the 2021-22 campaign with the second division side – where He proved to be a key player for Jack de Gier’s men as he helped the Blue White Dragons finish mid-table.

In total he featured in 11 Ereste Divisie matches – chipping in with two goals and a solitary assist – And Arsenal have decided to send the Sweden youth international back on loan to the club to continue his development.

A statement from the Gunners read: “We wish Nikolaj all the best at FC Den Bosch and look forward to seeing his development in the upcoming season.”

Reflecting on the signing of Moller, Den Bosch’s technical manager Jan Gösgens said: “Nikolaj has shown that he has a lot of potential. Last season he showed beautiful things at times.

“Because he has been able to get used to it for six months, I expect more from him. I am very happy that we were able to keep Nikolaj with us for longer.”

The lad was clearly very happy there playing on a regular basis so he must delighted with the deal that the Arsenal board have managed to strike

He may never get the opportunity to play for the Gunners first team – but if he performs well once again this time around – then he may get a more permanent move at the end of next season

Stunning reports have claimed that Arsenal have now agreed personal terms with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans

Tielemans has gone from strength to strength since joining Leicester on loan from AS Monaco back in January 2019, registering 24 goals and 24 assists in 158 appearances for the former Premier League Champions

However – with his contract coming towards an end with Leicester – there has been alot of speculation in the media that the likes of Arsenal have been interested in a possible transfer deal for the player

However – rumours have stalled over the past few weeks as Arsenal have been working on other signings – but now it seems that Tielemans could be the next that makes a move to the Emirates in a deal worth £32 million

CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has come out and claimed that Arsenal have now agreed personal terms with Tielemans and they could end up paying Leicester £32 million for the gifted Belgian star

He told Givmesport: “Arsenal have put in a heck of a lot of work into Tielemans. They’ve agreed personal terms, and their talks with Tielemans date back for the best part of a year.

“But for whatever reason, Arsenal have decided not to swoop just yet and actually table a bid with Leicester City. And if they do so, and agree a fee at the lowest end £25 million, at the highest end £32 million, they will get Youri Tielemans.”

If the reports are true and Arsenal have agreed personal terms with the midfielder – then it will be a very good buy for the club

He really is a talented midfielder that needs to be at a big club like Arsenal – and for the money that is being talked about – he could be a real bargain for Arsenal
