Tielemans sold on Arsenal – Ballard makes Arsenal admission – Arteta working on Gnabry deal in Arsenal news of the day….

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is already reportedly working on a deal to bring Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry to the Emirates

The Gunners are on the lookout for a winger after missing out on Leeds star Raphinha, who looks poised to link up with Barcelona while Chelsea are also keeping tabs.

Gnabry is facing an uncertain future in Bavaria with the player having just a year left on his deal at the Allianz Arena – and there has been alot of speculation in the media that he could be leaving the club

And According to 90min, the North Londoners are already trying to work on a deal that would see the player make a stunning move back to the club

It has also been claimed Arsenal would be open to securing his services for a second time after they signed him from Stuttgart for £100,000 in 2011 – and that he is actually interested in sealing that move back

Speaking in June, Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer admitted that talks to extend Arsenal target Serge Gnabry’s stay have stalled.

And Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic recently declared that Bayern may have to sell Gnabry in a cut-price fee if he fails to agree terms on a new deal.

Asked by Sky Sport Germany whether the forward will be sold if he doesn’t renew, Salihamidzic said: “I’m very clear about that, he’s a great guy.

“We really want to keep him. We would love to extend with him. I think we showed him the necessary appreciation. I hope that he chooses FC Bayern.

“We will intensify the talks over the next few weeks. But if a player doesn’t want to decide for the club then it’s only fair to tell us so that we can find a solution that makes everyone happy”

Ballard makes Arsenal admission –

Daniel Ballard has come out and told fans just why he had to complete a summer move away from Arsenal this summer

The highly-talented defender was a player that many of the Gunners coaches believed that would develop into a player that was good enough to work his way into the plans of Mikel Arteta

But with the fact that Arteta already has a number of players in that position already – and with a few more expected to be signed this summer – Ballard made the big decision to leave Arsenal – and had a number of suiters

However – in the end it was a move to Sunderland that appealed to him the most and he has now come out and revealed just why he had to leave the Gunners – Ballard told the Sunderland Echo: “Arsenal made it pretty clear that there wasn’t a pathway through to the first team at this moment in time,”

“I think we sort of agreed that it was the best thing for me to look for a new challenge permanently.

“There was a lot of interest from a few clubs and it was just about picking the right one to progress with.

“It’ll definitely be a bit strange not being an Arsenal player, not having that bit of extra support and going back at the end of the season, but I definitely think I’ve picked the right club so that I don’t need that.

“Sunderland approached really early, they showed a really strong interest.

“That was really exciting for me.

“I had a lot of chats with the manager and the people above him, and they made really clear that I was one of the key targets and that they wanted me to be the first player through the door for them.

“That gave me an awful lot of confidence, just that they really wanted me here and also to be a really key part of the team.

“There’s [then] a lot of work that goes on, especially because of the fact that it’s not a loan so between the clubs there was a lot of negotiating to do,”

“Obviously I don’t have any input in that so you’re just waiting, hoping that something can get agreed.

“We’ve got it done relatively early which is good, that was the plan. You want that pre-season so you can get settled, get to know the lads.

“This is a great challenge and I’m really looking forward to it.”

He added: “I think as a player my defensive skills have always been probably my main strength, it’s something which comes really naturally to me because it’s a side of the game I really love,” Ballard continued.

“I think my stuff on the ball is probably the side of the game I can work on, because obviously the game has changed a lot in the past few years, so that’s been a key focus. I feel really confident with that now and it’s something which I’ll keep going with, so I can hopefully be that really well-rounded player.”

Tielemans sold on Arsenal –

Youri Tielemans is ‘fully sold’ on a move to Arsenal after reportedly agreeing personal terms, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs.

Tielemans is one of the most gifted midfielders in the Premier League and is a player that has been tipped to make a move to one of the big clubs this transfer window

Both Arsenal and Man United are the two clubs most interested in trying to secure a £25 million transfer deal for the Belgian – especially after learning that he does want to leave Leicester City.

However – recent reports in the media have claimed that Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with the player – roughly around the £120,000-a-week mark – and he is expected to be one of the next players to arrive at the Emirates

Now – amid all that speculation – CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has come out and told fans that Tielemans is fully sold on the move to Arsenal – Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT: “He’s fully sold on a move to Arsenal, so if Manchester United were to bid for Tielemans, they will only get him if Arsenal decide that’s fine, go ahead and take the player. It’s not really a head-to-head.

“I think that Manchester United’s potential interest in Tielemans, which is still to be stood up, could just catalyse Arsenal to make another bid or may have Arsenal say ‘I’m sorry, but we’re not interested. Go ahead and join Manchester United if you want’.

“But I don’t think that Manchester United can beat Arsenal to Tielemans. It’s not a case of decide between the two.”
