£30M valued star told he needs to move on amid Arsenal transfer speculation

Kieran Tierney does not have a future at ARSENAL and needs to move on, pundit defender Alan Hutton has claimed.

A few seasons ago – Tierney was a player that the fans loved and that Mikel Arteta really relied on – but injuries have really ruined his time at the Emirates and he has really struggled for game time.

That has led to constant speculation in the media that he is one player that will be leaving the club – with the likes of West Ham and Newcastle two clubs that are interested in a possible deal.

The speculation has continued over the summer regarding the future with Tierney – but after the injury to Jurrien Timber – it is claimed that Mikel Arteta will now keep the defender, despite the fact he is not really in the clubs long-term plans.

However – amid the speculation and rumours – Hutton has opened up and claimed that Tierney needs to leave ARSENAL this summer window as he simply does not have a future at the Emirates.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

“I do not understand it,” he told Football Insider.

“I think he is an outstanding footballer so I do not understand why he is not even in the squad.

“Zinchenko coming back in, Tomiyasu who is a right-back playing on the left-hand side, Partey who is a midfielder playing at right-back – why can they not play Tomiyasu on the right and Tierney on the left?

“I know the manager likes to play a particular way, [Thomas] Partey comes into midfield, maybe he thinks that is the best solution for his squad at this moment in time.

“If you are Kieran Tierney and you are not even making matchday squads, you need to see if your future lies there.

“He can’t go on this way until January, not making the squad. I have been there myself so I know how difficult it can be. For someone with his talent, you just do not want to see that.“

SHOULD TIERNEY LEAVE THE CLUB?

The short answer is yes he should.
