Mikel Arteta is a man that knows he needs to delve into that transfer kitty and sign a few players that will help improve this current Arsenal squad

Tolisso is a man that has been on the shopping list of Arsenal for the last few seasons – but they have not been able to get a transfer deal done as he has shown no desire to depart the Bundesliga giants

However – it seems that Arsenal will not get the chance to try and sign the player in the coming transfer window after Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano opened up and told the Arsenal board that the midfielder will be leaving Bayern.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Official.

“Corentin Tolisso leaves FC Bayern on a free transfer, there’s no agreement to extend the contract and both parties decided to part ways immediately.

There are so many players linked with Arsenal – have been linked with a move to the Emirates – and will continue to be linked with a move to the Premier League and Tolisso is one of those players.

He has been on the fringes of the Bayern side – but has been happy to play his part in helping the side win numerous title – however – he has failed to agree a new contract with the club and now will leave on a free deal

Could he improve this current Arsenal side? Probably not – but he would add a bit more depth to this side
