Chelsea free to land Premier League powerhouse for summer bargain!
Chelsea have been informed that they may be able to sign Brentford star Ivan Toney for a summer bargain.
The transfer window till has a month worth of rumours in it and it will give Chelsea more chances to start getting some deals done that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League for new boss Enzo Maresca.
CHELSEA performed terribly last season and really struggled for goals, with Cole Palmer the only player to break the 20 goal barrier, so it is vital that the Blues board allow Maresca to add a new forward to that attack over the next few months.
The Brentford talisman was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in January, though a move for the England international failed to materialise, as he wanted to stay at Brentford and get back to his best after spending so much time out of the game.
According to The Sun, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all pulled out of the race to sign Toney this summer. The report states that the three clubs have all informed Thomas Frank’s side that they have no plans to bid for the England international.
So, in an effort to flog the striker, Brentford will reportedly slash Toney’s price tag to less than £50m. The Sun claim that the Bees had hoped to generate a bidding war for their frontman, and bring those clubs back into the race for the big man.

CHELSEA know that signing Toney would bring a different aspect to that attack for the side – he is the type of player that could make a real difference, and because he did not score too many goals last season, they could get him for a bargain, and that would be a good thing.
