ARSENAL target and Brentford striker Ivan Toney says “it’s obvious i want to play for a top club”.
The Brentford striker is free to play after his eight-month ban, but has been in the headlines alot over the past few months as all the big clubs are reportedly interested in a potential deal for the man.
It is no secret that Mikel Arteta needs to add a new striker to that attack of his – and many ARSENAL fans are calling for the club to splash the cash and bring proven Ivan Toney to the club.
However – the big man has recently revealed that he has no desire to leave Brentford at this stage of the season – as he wants to thank them for their loyalty while he was out of the game.
But the big man has opened up and revealed that it is obvious that he would like to play for a big club in the coming season – The one-cap Englishman, 27, told Sky Sports: “It’s obvious I want to play for a top club and fight for titles, yes.
“If a club was to pay the right money… then, who knows. January or whenever is right time, I’ll be ready.”
But having been out for so long, Toney added: “I want to enjoy and play now.”

Look, there has been alot of speculation regarding the big man and his future – but we are certain that he will stay put this January window and will not leave the club over the next few weeks.
However – the summer window will give the big clubs a chance to get a deal done – and it will be interesting to see just where he ends up as Toney has the ability to play for anybody in the Premier League.
