Top-class West Ham target ‘desperate’ to make transfer move
West Ham target Kalvin Phillips is reportedly desperate to leave Man City this transfer window
At Leeds – Phillips established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League – and that prompted Man City boss Pep Guardiola to take him to the Etihad.
However – the move has not quite worked out and he has struggled to make an impact -with a number of injuries keeping him on the sidelines more often that he would have hoped for.
Now rumours have claimed that England midfielder Phillips is desperate to leave last season’s treble winners and ensure he gets a decent run of games ahead of the upcoming European championships.
But, with just 17 days of the transfer window remaining, no club has yet tabled a serious offer for the former Leeds ace.
WEST HAM are believed to be very interested in signing Phillips but have been unwilling to bow to City’s demands for a £7m loan fee and obligation to make the deal permanently in the summer.

West Ham have had a dodgy start to the new Premier League season, but they have started to pick up their performances over the past few months and are starting to look like a side that can get back into Europe.
But they need players that have experience at the top level that could bring something extra to the side, and Phillips could be that man.
He has flopped at Man City, but he is still a quality player that would bring so much quality to that West Ham midfield. And he is certainly a player that would make the Hammers alot more defensively solid that is for sure.
