Top Liverpol news: fans told £100m star the player Klopp wants, Liverpool told to sign £150 m duo, Midfielder told to sign for Liverpool, Would fans welcome Brazilian signing?

Guys here is our top Liverpool stories over the past few days that we think you will enjoy.

Steve McManaman has told Jurgen Klopp that Kai Havertz Havertz is juts the type of player the Liverpool boss is looking for.

The season is still in full swing and there is a lot of time between now and the summer to discuss possible targets for Klopp, but that has not stopped all the speculation linking the club with a £100 million move for Bundesliga sensation Havertz.

Havertz has become one of the most sought after players in the game, as he has scored 20 goals and provided four assists in all competition this season, meaning that this will be his most productive campaign to date.

He was reportedly the subject of a rejected bid from the Reds before the start of this season, but Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has now suggested the midfielder could depart the club this summer for the right price.#, and McManaman could certainly see a move to Liverpool happening: “It’s interesting to see Kai Havertz linked with a switch to Merseyside,” the Anfield hero wrote in his column for

“We’ll have to wait and see; he’s a young player with plenty to improve on, who might be the type of player that Liverpool are looking at rather than a fully-fledged superstar.

“He is one who’s impressed in the Bundesliga this season and Jurgen Klopp certainly knows that league inside out, so he’s got a lot of people to call to get opinions on players.

“Liverpool do a lot of their transfer business discreetly, and a lot of the other players were bought when we didn’t know it was happening, such as the likes of Alisson Becker and Fabinho, while Virgil Van Dijk was very much the exception.

“They’re very low key when it comes to signing players they want in the summer, that’s why I take transfer rumours at the moment with a pinch of salt.

“And if Liverpool want to do business then they’re not going to tell anyone else about it. They’ll try and get it done before anybody else knows.”

Would Liverpool fans welcome back the possible signing of Philippe Coutinho at the end of the season?

The 27-year-old left the Reds for Barcelona in a £142million deal in January 2018 and the manner of his departure upset many supporters at Anfield, but there has been much speculation in the media that he could make a sensational return back to the Premier League as his stay in La Liga has not been the best.

Liverpool have gone on to thrive in his absence, winning the Champions League last season and storming to the Premier League title this term, but there has been some speculation in the media suggesting that they may make a move to try and acquire his services at the end of the season.

Even club legend Steve McManaman admitted he would welcome Coutinho returning to Merseyside in the summer, telling HorseRacing.Net: “I wouldn’t mind seeing Coutinho back. He’s a brilliant player but a lot of it is just down to economics.

“If they can bring Coutinho back for a reasonable fee and potentially sell a couple of players who aren’t playing regularly, then that could work.

“There are rumours that Xherdan Shaqiri may leave at the end of the season, and Adam Lallana may want to play more often.

“If there’s space available then I’d certainly like Coutinho back, as he was a wonderful player for Liverpool.

“He’s that type of player that when plan A isn’t working he can change the game.

“He scored some incredible goals for LIVERPOOL and though he’d have to win the fans over after he asked to leave, I think that most fans would recognise how good he was for Liverpool.”

Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Jack Grealish to snub Manchester United and be the ‘missing piece’ at Liverpool.

Liverpool may be dominating in the Premier League, But Jurgen Klopp knows that he will need to continue to spend during the summer transfer window in order to keep progressing and he has been linked with a number of signings over the past few weeks.

And there has also been some shock rumours in the media that Villa midfielder Grealish could also be on the radar of Klopp after impressing during his first season back in the Premier League, as his performances over the past few months has also caught the attentions of the likes United, who believe that he is ready to make that step up in the game

But Agbonlahor has advised his former team-mate to turn down United and instead look to a side like Klopp’s Premier League leaders – although he hopes Villa can keep hold of him: “I am not just saying this as I have played with him, but I honestly think he is the best attacking midfield option that England have got at this current time,’ Agbonlahor told Bet O’Clock.

‘That is why, when people say Grealish to Manchester United, he could do so much better than that, and he could walk into any team in the world, even Barcelona or Juventus.

‘For where Manchester United are now, he could go to better teams around the world, so he doesn’t need to limit himself to just United and focus on teams who are playing in the Champions League.

‘He is the missing piece that a lot of teams need right now. I watch Liverpool, and they are an outstanding team, but they are missing a player like him, Chelsea can’t break anyone down and are missing someone like Jack. Mason Mount is not on the same level as Grealish.

‘There are a lot of teams that he would walk into, so it is down to Villa to have the resolve to reject bids and for them to grow as a club because they aren’t a team that should be fighting with relegation.

‘They will stay up this season and will start to climb the table next year. The club will have to work out how much they actually value him at and how much it is worth to move him on. Unless a crazy high bid comes in for him, I would just turn the phones off and reject every bid that comes in for Jack.’

Jamie Carragher has urged Jurgen Klopp to spend some money and bring in both Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool’s front-three combination of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino is regarded by many as the finest attack in Europe and the trio have scored 44 goals between them in all competitions this season, but that not stopped speculation about the summer window.

Jurgen Klopp knows that he still needs to improve the side in order to keep progressing and needs to add something to the squad that will offer the side something different, a different type of player to the ones that have been dominating the Premier League this season.

And ex-Liverpool defender believes the best way to ease the pressure on Salah, Mane and Firmino would be to bring in Borussia Dortmund’s Sancho (valued at £100m) and Leipzig’s Timo Werner (valued at £50m), two players heavily linked with a move to the Premier League.

Things can change very quickly,’ Carragher told Viasport Fotbal. ‘If you look at Tuesday night (Atletico Madrid defeat), the big problem for Liverpool is when one of those front-three are not playing.

‘Sadio Mane had to come off and the player they bring on in is Divock Origi, who is a Liverpool legend because of what happened last year at the Wanda Metropolitano, but it’s not quite good enough for the best team in the world to be bringing that quality on.

‘Liverpool do need a top attacking player to come in the summer. Sancho or Werner? I’ll take both.’

Klopp has turned this Liverpool side into one of the best in the game and any player would love to work with the German, so if he is to improve the side in the summer, why not go big and try to acquire these two players? It would make sense wouldn’t it?
