Gunners legend announces Arsenal arrival ‘better signing’ than £88M deal
Leandro Trossard has proved to be a much better signing than Mykhailo Mudryk so far, says ARSENAL legend Ian Wright
Mudryk and Trossard were two of the big transfer stories of the January window after stunning starts to the new season – and both Chelsea and Arsenal made sure that they were the clubs to get deals done.
The 28-year-old Trossard has made a cracking start to life in north London, while Mudryk has struggled to make much of an impact at all at Stamford Bridge.
While anything could still happen for both players in the Premier League, Wright says there is no doubt who has made the better impression at their new club: ‘I don’t care what anyone says, Mudryk, and we’ve seen up to this point, he wouldn’t have done what Trossard has done what Trossard has been doing up to this point,’ Wright said on his Wrighty’s House podcast.

‘Mudryk, for his own sake, I do feel sorry for him because I don’t know if there’s anyone in the history of football whose had to have a transfer of that amount of money with so much politicalness around him. It’s almost unfair.’

Chelsea signing Mudryk was a massive risk from the club to make – especially for the money that he has been signed for and it honestly be a waste from the Blues board if he is not able to adapt to the Premier League.
Trossard was already proven in the English topflight – is vastly more experienced and has shown that at ARSENAL – he really has been a brilliant signing and Arsenal fans are delighted with his signing.
It is easy for us to choose who we would like in our side right now – and it is the Arsenal man.
