Abramovic gives Chelsea green light to sign Striker, Tuchel told to sign forward, Hazard heading back to Chelsea, Superstar target ready for fresh challenge as Chelsea seek to get deal done
Tuchel told to sign striker, Madrid to sell Hazard, Chelsea to step up lewandowski chase and Chelsea step up Lukaku move in Chelsea roundup…
Reports have claimed that Real Madrid are now willing to listen to offers for Chelsea icon Eden hazard in the summer window.
After years and years of speculation, Chelsea finally decided that they would allow Hazard to leave the club in 2019 after he pushed for a move to Madrid, and in the end, they managed to get £130 million for the players services.
However, Hazard has struggled with multiple injuries during his time in La Liga, and delivered an anonymous display in the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Wednesday evening which sealed Madrid’s elimination from the Champions League.
Hazard angered many connected with Madrid after television cameras caught him laughing and joking with his former Chelsea teammate Kurt Zouma just minutes after the final whistle. But the Belgian has since apologised for his conduct but according to Marca, Madrid’s hierarchy have decided that they are ready to listen to offers for the 30-year-old this summer.
The reports also suggest that Madrid will be willing to accept just £43 million for Hazard in the summer, and it is claimed that Chelsea may he interested in a deal.
The Blues have been linked with Hazard over the past few months a few times, and even though he didnt really feature in the Champions league loss to Chelsea, he is still seen as a real icon at the Bridge.
Fresh reports have claimed that Chelsea are targeting a move for Robert Lewandowski as they seek to add a new striker to the squad.
It is no secret that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is lacking a goal-scorer up top that has the ability to find the net on a regular basis, as Timo Werner has not scored the goals that many had hoped for.
And with reports suggesting that Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud may depart the club at the end of the season, there has been a whole list of players already linked with a move to the Premier League giants, and Lewandowksi is one of them.
The 32-year-old remains one of the deadliest goalscorers in the world, netting 36 goals in the Bundesliga in just 26 appearances this campaign while also carrying a heavy workload in the Champions League.
Lewandowski’s current Bayern contract runs until 2023, but his agent is pushing for a renewal to be agreed for him to stay at Bayern for the next few seasons, but no deal has been sorted just yet
And According to ESPN, Lewandowski is undecided on his future and could be tempted by a new challenge.
The reports also claim In order to enter negotiations with Bayern over the purchase of their star striker, ESPN say that potential suitors will need to offer €60million (£52m).
There are only a handful of clubs in world football that would be able to pay his wages right now, most of them in the Premier League, so if he does leave Bayern in the summer, there will surely be a big scramble to get his services signed.
But if Chelsea are able to get a transfer deal done, they will be signing of the best players in world football
Chelsea are stepping up their chase for Romelu Lukaku after Thomas Tuchel told adding a 25-goal striker to the squad will help win that Premier League.
Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he will need to improve in key areas of the pitch in the transfer window in order to wrestle that Premier League title from Manchester City next season, and adding a striker is high up on things to do.
There has been alot of speculation about what players Tuchel will look to sign in the window, and Lukaku has been a name that has been mentioned in the media on alot of days over the past month.
Recent reports have claimed that Roman Abramovic will give the green light for Chelsea to get a deal done for Lukaku, despite reports he is keen to stay, and Andy Cole has told the Blues that if they add a 25-goal striker to the squad, they will have a good chance of winning that title.
He was quoted on the Metro: ‘Werner works his socks off, he’s relentless. He never gives up, he would chase a piece of paper. ‘But I do genuinely believe that if Chelsea are going to win the Premier League next season, he [Tuchel] will buy a centre forward
‘He might play Werner on the left, he looks stronger there. He’s creative as well but as a centre forward you’ve got to be ruthless.
‘Where are Chelsea trying to get to? Should they buy a proven goalscorer now who is going to guarantee them 20 or 25 goals and win them the Premier League next season?
‘When you’re trying to win major honours you have to have someone who is scoring 20 or 25 goals a season.’
Would Chelsea fans welcome back Lukaku?
Ian Wright has told Thomas Tuchel that he needs to bring a striker to Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Since Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge just a few months ago, he has transformed this Chelsea side into one of the very best in world football, and reaching the Champions League and FA Cup finals in the process.
And Wright insists Tuchel is doing an ‘unbelievable’ job at Stamford Bridge but says the German must sign a new centre forward to take Chelsea to the next level, Speaking on The Kelly and Wrighty show, the former Arsenal striker said: ‘The job Thomas Tuchel has done has been fantastic. He’s come in and found a balance between defence and attack.
‘They’re not scoring as many goals as they possibly could do and once Chelsea get a proper number nine in, they will be a very dangerous proposition. ‘The way this manager has come in, he plays with the players he’s got and moves them around and they make the system. It’s been unbelievable what he’s done at Chelsea.
‘Defensively they’re very sound. If they can get that striker – it doesn’t look like it’s going to be Tammy or Giroud – to finish the team off, then they are really going to cause problems because they’re so dangerous.’
Wright added: ‘Harry Kane’s out there, I’m not saying he’s going to go to Chelsea, but he’s out there. Erling Haaland is out there, Romelu Lukaku as well.
‘What I like about Chelsea is that they don’t stay on this losing, mediocre vibe for long. They get a new manager in, they’re revitalized and they go again
‘If Chelsea are going to get to that place [of challenging for the Premier League], they need a guy who’s going to score the goals.’
