Chelsea make Vlahovic moves, Tuchel makes Lukaku admission and Vlahovic speaks on future in latest Chelsea news…

Dusan Vlahovic has opened up on his future amid reports that Chelsea have registered their interest in a potential deal

He is the current top goalscorer in Serie A with 16 goals in 19 outings this season, and is being linked with a whole host of top European clubs as he enters the final 18 months of his contract in Florence.

Chelsea are one of four clubs in the race for Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports in Italy, where a move to Arsenal or Tottenham is also being ruled out, as clusb circle for that £48 million valuation he has around his head.

Rerports have claimed Fiorentina are considering a sale given Vlahovic’s stock is currently sky-high as he enters the final 18 months of his contract,’ the report in the Express states.

There appears to be no way back for him in Florence – despite being offered the chance to become the highest-paid player in La Viola’s history.

Instead, Vlahovic wants to make the next step in his career after matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s calendar year record of 33 goals in 2021

We would love to see Vlahovic in the Premier League, he really does have great potential and right now, but at the end of the day, Chelsea already have a striker in that squad that will probably play every game

Chelsea would be a great move for the lad to make, but only if he is the number one hitman at the club. So if he does decide to come to the Premier League in the next couple of windows, we would be surprised to see him make that move to Stamford Bridge.

As we said, he does not want to be sitting on the bench every week, and Chelsea seemingly do not have the space in the squad to fit him in.

But he will develop into a top-class striker

Romelu Lukaku’s relationship with Chelsea appears to be on the mend following clear the air talks with Thomas Tuchel.

The striker, who rejoined the Premier League club for a club record £97.5million from Inter Milan in the summer, was dropped for the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Liverpool at the weekend after voicing his frustration at the club in an interview which was released earlier in the week.

Lukaku revealed he was ‘not happy’ with the role he has been playing of late and added he would like to return to the Italian club in the future, but It was reported last night that the talks went positively and talkSPORT understands the player has apologised and his relationship with the club is ‘going in the right direction.’

Now The Chelsea boss says the striker has indeed apologised for his well-publicised interview comments and it’s now time to move on, The German said: “We have given it time to look calmly back on. He apologised and is back in the squad for today’s training.

“For me, the most important thing was to understand – and clearly understand – it was not intentional. He did not do this intentionally to create this kind of noise in front of a big game.

“Even before, when he seemed to be, in his opinion, ready to play after his injury from the start and we thought he needed to readapt to the intensity a little bit more, there was never the slightest behaviour against the team.

“So, it was the very first time that he felt in this way. It’s very important points to understand and stay calm and understand it’s not that big as maybe people want it to be.

“It’s also not small, but it’s small enough to stay calm, accept an apology and to move on forward.”

That is great news as having Lukaku in the squad will give the club more of a chance of winning that Premier League title

Dusan Vlahovic has opened up on his future amid reports that Chelsea have registered their interest in the player

He has not accepted Fiorentina’s offer of a new contract and his current deal will have just one year remaining at the end of the season, which means the Italian club would be likely to cash in if they receive a significant offer in the summer.

Speaking about his future on Monday, the Serbia international refused to be drawn on whether he would leave the Viola either in January or the summer.

‘I have stated this several times so far. A beautiful football story is being made here in Florence,’ he told Politika.

‘We have a good team, great football players, great support from the fans. It all deserves respect.

‘Only God knows what will happen in the next period. My wish is to bring Fiorentina to Europe, because we have not been in Europe for a long time.

‘I don’t know what can happen overnight. We’ll see.’

It is easy to see just why so many clubs are very much interested in trying to get a transfer deal done for the man. But right now he does not need to leave. He has a big future in the game, so why ruin that now.

Chelsea will keep a close eye on his development and will make a move if they believe he can lead this attack.
