Thomas Tuchel ‘has requested’ the £40 million Chelsea signing of Premier League powerhouse

Thomas Tuchel has reportedly requested the signing of Adama Traore during the summer transfer window.

Tuchel is the man of the moment right now and is on top of the world after helping the club reach that top four spots and then add another Champions League trophy to that cabinet.

But despite all the quality players that the club currently have in the side, there has been talk for weeks that Thomas Tuchel is looking to improve the squad in key areas of the pitch and was hoping to be backed by the board

Recent reports in the media have claimed that Tuchel is keen to bring Achraf Hakimi to the Premier League to provide competition for Reece James, but with Inter demanding alot of money for the player, they could make a move for Traore.

The AS website has claimed that Tuchel has already requested to the board that a move for Traore is made if they miss out on the brilliant Hakimi.

Roundup…

This is a shock to see that Traore is being linked with a move to Chelsea, but he is ready to play for one of the big Premier League sides. So if the Blues could get him for the right amount of money, he could be a very decent signing for the club.

However, he is not the type of player that could play in that win-back role and is much more attacking, so it would be interesting to see just how Tuchel would use the player should he get a transfer deal done
