Boss speaks on future – decision made to move on – Chelsea keen on shock deal

Bayern Munich manager and cshock Chelsea linked boss Thomas Tuchel has addressed speculation about his future ahead of his impending exit from the Bundesliga club.

Mauricio Pochettino could be in the final few weeks of his time at Chelsea after a disappointing season has seen the club go backwards, rather than forward with all the new signings the club have made.

That has led to some reports that the Blues will make a move to bring the German back to the club and replace Pochettino, knowing that Tuchel is one of the best coaches in Europe and a man that could really take the club to that next level.

Tuchel’s departure from Bayern at the end of the season was announced in February but Bayern fans have recently petitioned for the former Chelsea manager to stay on, with Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick among the potential replacements.

Tuchel won the Champions League with CHELSEA in 2021 just four months after replacing Frank Lampard at the helm. He was sacked in September 2022 after a disappointing start to the season with the Blues.

Asked in a press conference about his next move, Tuchel said: “I’ve no idea. I’ll think about things in peace. Things have been clear since February. I’ll take my time. There’s been no discussions with other clubs.”

Look, Tuchel leaving Bayern is no real surprise is it? The Germans have failed to win a trophy for the first time in 12 years and that is simply not good enough for one of the biggest sides in the game.

However – we cannot see him making that move back to CHELSEA if Pochettino does get the sack – it is much more likely that he heads to PSG or a lower placed Premier League side.

We dont know what is going to happen with Pochettino – but we are sure that Tuchel will not come back
