Tuchel ‘is very interested’ in bringing £300K-a-week star to Chelsea
It has again been claimed that Thomas Tuchel is very interested in luring Raheem Sterling to Chelsea this summer window -fans have been told
Sterling is a player that has won countless trophies during his time with Man City – has scored 131 goals for the Premier League Champions and is easily one of the best players in the English game
However – as Pep Guardiola looks to shake things up for next season – there are a number of players that the Spaniard is willing to let leave this summer – and Sterling is one of them
That has led to constant speculation in the media that Chelsea may be looking to try and secure a deal for Sterling – as they seek to add some more goals to an attack that struggled last season.
And amid all the speculation – Alex Crook has admitted that he see Chelsea going after Sterling this summer; however, he also thinks the England star may opt for a new challenge abroad.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the talkSPORT reporter said: “Sterling’s an interesting one because I think that they will definitely be keen on him. Personally, I think he is more likely to end up abroad. Real Madrid are still looking to strengthen up top having missed out on a couple of targets.
“I could see Raheem Sterling at the Bernabeu. I think he’s the type of player that would excite them, and I think he’d be excited by that challenge.”
Sterling brings pace – skill and goals to an attack – and that is what Chelsea are lacking right now
They have a number of exciting players at the club – but if they want to close the gap on Man City and Liverpool – then they need to start signing the best players when they come onto the market
