Big news – Tuchel tells Boehly he wants £350k-a-week star signed for Chelsea
Thomas Tuchel has told Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and demanded he only sign world class players.
Chelsea starts their season against Everton in Saturday’s late kick-off – and have seen a number of new stars come through the door at Stamford Bridge.
But these are still not enough for Tuchel, who has reportedly described his squad as average – and he is keen to keep adding to the side in order to compete for that Premier League title
It is now secret that the German boss wants to add another striker to that attack and has been linked with so many big names over the past few months – but so far – no deal has been done
But there has been a few rumours in the media over the past few days that Chelsea are very interested in trying to bring Aubameyang back to the Premier League
And according to Florian Plettenberg, the German coach wants to add Aubameyang to his squad next, having previously worked with him while at Borussia Dortmund.
However, Barcelona want to keep the former Arsenal man as a top back up to Lewandowski, with them preferring Memphis Depay to leave instead.
