West Ham chance to get world class deal done – German wants Premier League move
West Ham target Thomas Tuchel has dropped a hint he may return to the Premier League, as staying on at Bayern Munich is “very unlikely.
Since the news broke just a few days ago that David Moyes was leaving the club at the end of the season, there has been alot of speculation that former Wolvs boss Julen Lopetegui is going to be the next boss in.
But despite all the rumours and all the hype – there has not b any confirmation that he will be the next WEST HAM boss, and many fans are hoping that a move for Thomas Tuchel could be made.
The German may have failed to win the Bundesliga – but he has guided Bayern Munich to the semi-finals of the Champions League and has a real chance of beating Real Madrid in the second leg.
However – he will be leaving Bayern at the end of the season and he has now opened the door for a possible move back to the Premier League, when asked about all the speculation Tuchel told TNT Sports: “I’d rather not answer but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea. I loved it in England and I loved it in the Premier League for sure, it was a very, very special time and I remember it very well.”
He added on talk of him staying on at Allianz Arena to coach a star-studded squad led by Harry Kane: “It’s very, very, very unlikely that it’s at Bayern [next season], I have to say, because we have an agreement, there is at the moment no reason to doubt this agreement.
‘We took this position, the initiative came from the club, and so it is and I’m fine with it. I don’t need it for the extra percentage of competitiveness because I’m always up for a win, I’m always thinking how to improve the squad or how to improve myself in coaching. We go all in.
‘Does it have an influence on where I am next season? Maybe not, maybe I’m on holiday no matter what, let’s see, let’s see.”
