No Bale, No Sancho and No Grealish deal as Manchester United ‘have run out of money’ fans told
Tim Sherwood has claimed Manchester United will not sign Gareth Bale or Jadon Sancho because they’ve got no money left.
Manchester United fans have seen alot of players linked with a move to Old Trafford during the last few weeks of the transfer window, but despite all that speculation, no deals have taken place.
And he claimed that, now United have signed Donny van de Beek for £40m, they’ve ‘run out of money’ to go ahead and try to get Gareth Bale, Jack Grealish or Jadon Sancho all signed up, three players that were really wanted at the club.
Sherwood on TalkSport: “It’s great news for Aston Villa, what a signing that is.
“I thought Jack Grealish was nailed on to go to Manchester United, but it’s quite clear after the Van de Beek deal they’ve run out of money.
“No Gareth Bale, no Jack Grealish, there’s no more money. There will be no Jadon Sancho that’s for sure.
“They’ve run out of money, otherwise it was a no-brainer in my opinion to take that boy [Grealish] to Manchester United.”
Look, if United have run out of money to sign anymore players this summer, then the squad that they have should be more than good enough to get the club back inside the top four spots.
But this will not be what fans want to hear, as they know a few more signings are needed to get the club closer to challenging for that Premier League title.
It will be interesting how United respond to this.
