Frenchman sends clear message to Manchester United about possible £200 million transfer deal of Mbappe

Manchester United are unlikely to sign Kylian Mbappe next summer because the France superstar ‘dreams’ of playing for Real Madrid, the club have been told.

Mbappe is already regarded as one of the best players in the game, and is tipped to become a real legend of football in the coming seasons, as he is seen as the man that will replace greats Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

There are only a few clubs in world football that could attract him and Manchester United have been mentioned as a possible destination for the Frenchman if he does leave PSG, But French football expert Julien Laurens reveals Mbappe has always had his heart set on Madrid.

“At some point he will want to leave, for sure,” Laurens told ESPN. “Let’s remember, his contract ends in 2022, so that’s quite soon. PSG are hoping he’ll extend that deal but he hasn’t yet.

“I think then if he goes to Real Madrid, it would be his ultimate dream.

“That’s where he’s always wanted to play, that’s where he went as an 11-year-old because they invited him to train with their youth team. He was that good that they wanted to sign him then.

Mbappe is just the type of superstar signing that United need to add to their squad in order to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City, so the news that he wants to go to Madrid is no surprise, but it will make it much more difficult to try and get a deal done.

If Mbappe comes onto that market next summer, it will be so interesting to see where he ends up and if United make a move, fans would surely love him at the club?
