Former Red Devils star Louis Saha has opened up and encouraged new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim to splash his cash and bring Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson to the club when the transfer window opens up.

Amorim has come to Old Trafford with a big reputation as being one of the best young managers in the games, and many United fans are hoping that he has the ability to turn things around for the club this season.

However – despite all the hype around his arrival, he has been unable to get the results that many were hoping for and that is down to the fact he has a number of players in the squad that do not suit the style he likes to play, and that is causing a real concern and alot of speculation.

Now, amid all the transfer speculation surrounding United, Pundit Louis Saha has told the Red Devils boss that Robinson would be a good signing for the club – Louis Saha told Complete Sports: “Antonee Robinson could help transform Manchester United’s team because he is not just great at creating chances and getting forward but he is also a leader.

‘Usually captains are in the middle of the pitch but he has captained Fulham from left-back this season and he brings so much enthusiasm.

‘At United, Diogo Dalot likes to get forward but it’s not as balanced on the other side, Robinson could bring that consistency and potentially solve a problem that Amorim has.

‘I left United because I was always injured so I do feel for Luke Shaw, he is a top player who wants to help his team-mates on the pitch, he has love for the club.

‘But Robinson is the type of player that can bring balance to a team and be such a threat, it would be interesting to see him in the wing-back position.”
