Rumoured CHELSEA target Federico Valverde has suggested he could seek a transfer if the day comes that his game time at Real Madrid is reduced.

Mauricio Pochettino is a man that knows he needed to sign players that would improve the squad enough over the summer that they will challenge for that Premier League title next season.

The Argentine boss has made some very good signings over the summer – with Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson the ones that stand out the most – but he knows that he needs to keep adding to the squad.

Spanish publication Nacional recently claimed the Blues are tempted to try and bring the Uruguayan to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid in the final few days of the transfer window

The Spanish giants already rejected big offers from Saudi Arabia for Valverde, so it would have taken a mammoth offer from CHELSEA to convince Real to part ways, which obvicously did not happen.

But now the attacker has opened up and revealed that he may be open to leaving Madrid in the coming seasons – Speaking to reporters, the Uruguayan said: “Premier League offers? I have the possibility of playing for Real.

‘The day I don’t feel like that, I will probably look for another solution or Real itself will look for one for me.”

We would be shocked to see Velverde make the move to the Premier League – he has shown no desire to leave the Bernabeu until now – so this is a transfer that CHELSEA need to forget about

So even though he would be a bit of brilliant business by Chelsea, we simply cannot see the Blues making a move and getting a deal done for the man as his age would play against him.

Even though he is only 25 years of age.
