Highly-prised Fiorentina striker Federico Chiesa reportedly wants to sign for Chelsea, despite interest from both Tottenham and Liverpool.
Chiesa has fast become one of the most sought after young strikers in world football after impressing for Fiorentina this season with an impressive eleven goals and eight assists in 29 appearances for the Seria A giants.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking to add another striker to the attack as they simply cannot rely on Harry Kane every week, while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp knows he must add strength in depth to the squad if he wants to challenge for more than just a Premier League title next season.
But according to reports on the Sun website, the £70 million rated striker is keen to make the switch to Premier League giants Chelsea and work under boss Maurizio Sarri, who plays the kind of football that most young players would like.
However, the reports go on the say that the impeding transfer ban that Chelsea are facing this coming transfer window may scupper any possible deal, meaning the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool could still swoop in and try to seal a deal if possible.
Manchester United and Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe has assured Paris Saint-Germain fans that he will not be leaving this summer.
The exciting 20-year old Frenchman is the most highly-rated youngster in world football right now and is heavily tipped to take the mantle of worlds best player away from the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and PSG team-mate Neymar.
He has been heavily linked with a move away from PSG over the last few months with constant reports suggesting both United and Madrid are willing to pay close to £200 million in the summer to try and prise him away from French football and onto the big-time.
It is believed that Mbappe has dreams to play in either the Premier League or La Liga in the coming seasons, although PSG have no intention of selling one of their mpost prices assets, who has formed an incredible attack alongside Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
But after seeing his side get knocked out the Champions League by United earlier this week, the Frenchman has played down reports that he could leave at the end of the season and confirmed he has an agreement to stay with PSG for next season.
He told Telefoot: “I’ll be here next year for sure, that’s already agreed. It doesn’t help to worry about my personal situation so that’s it. Clear and precise.”
Bayern Munich have now told chasing Manchester United that they intend to keep on-loan Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is currently coming towards the end of his two-year loan spell with Bayern and there were some suggestions that they had no intention of offering him a permanent move to the Bundesliga, as he had not impressed as many had hoped.
That had led to speculation that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was looking to step in and offer the Colombian a move to the premier League, as he needs to add a few more superstars to the side in hope of getting back to challenging for the Premier League title.
But despite rumours the rumours that Bayern are not willing to hand him a permanent deal, the Germans now intend to sign him on a permanent deal from Real Madrid.
“The option that we have, we have to exercise by June 15th,” Rummenigge told Abendzeitung.
“So we still have plenty of time. But I have to make it quite clear that everyone here is happy with him. I firmly believe that James will also play for FC Bayern next season.”
Reports have claimed Liverpool are all set to hand Real Madrid and Barcelona transfer target Vigil Van Dijk a big new contract.
Van Dijk is now considered one of the best and most dominant central defenders in World football after helping Liverpool become one of the most defensively sound sides in Europe, which has seen them challenge for the Champions League and Premier League title since his arrival.
However, his performances this season have caught the attentions of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are looking to revamp their squads in the summer and are reportedly ready to splash close to £100 million to try and tempt Liverpool into selling the powerful Dutchman.
But according to reports on the Sky Sports news website, Liverpool are all set to hand Van Dijk a contract that will ward off the attentions of the Spanish giants and keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.
Van Dijk only signed for Liverpool a couple of transfer windows ago, so a new deal will just be to solidify his position at the club, especially as he is so important to the immediate success of the club.
