Chelsea given green light to make move for goal-machine after transfer message to board

Tottenham, Kane
will Kane finally leave Spurs?

Nemanja Vidic has handed CHELSEA a massive boost in their bid to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane – after telling former club Man United NOT to make a move for the Tottenham man.

The 29-year-old faces an increasingly uncertain future at Tottenham after entering the final 18 months of his contract, and there has been constant speculation about where he will end up.

Kane has enjoyed a record-breaking campaign in 2022-23, becoming the all-time leading goalscorer for Spurs and England.

Despite all the creative talents that CHELSEA and Man United have – they both do not have a striker that has the ability to bang in 30-goals a season – and will be looking to sign a forward during the summer transfer window.

But now – amid all the speculation – Vidic has warmed Man United off trying to sign the £100 million valued striker. Vidic is not convinced that Kane would be a perfect fit, as the striker is set to turn 30 in July

When asked by Rio Ferdinand in his YouTube show FIVE if United should pursue Kane, Vidic replied:”I will not buy the striker if I am not sure, 100 per cent. For how much money? How old is he? He is a top striker for the last 10 years and he will score the goals but definitely I will go for other options.

‘Whatever other options, I will go for other options. There is a way to have a striker for many years.

‘The club has to think for many years, have to find players who are 23, 24, they are going to stay there for seven years. Especially in the heart of the team.”

Kane is a man that really needs to leave Tottenham – it needs to happen, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up as all indications suggest that he is keen on staying in the Premier League.

Many Believe that it will be Man United that get a deal done for the player – especially as they have been linked with moves for the man for many seasons.

But CHELSEA have big ambitions and with Mauricio Pochettino seemingly heading to Stamford Bridge – Kane could be tempted by a move across London
