Premier League boss reveals if £50M star will complete Chelsea move this January

Wolves manager Vitor Pereira insists Matheus Cunha is not for sale and has not asked to leave the club, amid interest from the likes of CHELSEA, Liverpool and Arsenal over the past few weeks.

Cunha has been in brilliant form this season for Wolves and there has been alot of speculation that the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in a move when the January window opens up in just a few days time.

Both clubs are challenging for that Premier League title, but are also still involved in the Fa Cup, Carabao Cup, Champions League, sot there are many more games to play before the end of the season and depth is something that Arne Alot and Mikel Arteta are keen on in the winter window,

Cunha got a goal and an assist against Manchester United in Wolves’ 2-0 win over Ruben Amorim’s side on Boxing Day – to make it 14 goal involvements in 18 matches this season.

But with the transfer window still open and there may be a chance to sign the Brazilian, Chelsea appear to be one of those clubs who have been drawn to Cunha, with CaughtOffside reporting that the Blues are interested in him.

Pereira, however, says he does not expect Cunha to leave and the forward has made no indication that he wants to: “He knows what I want from him as a captain. Everything is sorted, he’s ready and committed for the game and to help the team.

“He’s my player. I think he’s not for sale. He’s committed to us and what we need from him.

“He’s never asked me to leave the club. He wants to help the team and be with us to try and win the game.”

Wolves may not want one of the clubs best players to depart, but at the end of the day, if an actual offer is made, Cunha may find it very hard to turn down such a switch.
